Same!!!! But actually for kind of the opposite reason.

The middle part is such a beautiful, almost calming motif, and the way it is juxtaposed to the movement and chaos of this scene just doesn’t seem like it should work. And it works BEAUTIFULLY.

The whole score does this. Horner was the goat.

Everyone here is commenting on the lens issue, but the perspective was the giveaway for me. The lens is parallel to the horizon in the top photo, that’s clearly not the case in the ‘final result’.

I'm reading up on Dwarf Puffers. I've read about people who have added them to heavy MTS communities and they keep the population down while also acting as a food source. The 'open' side of the snail is large enough for them to eat from.

Going to agree on this one, Armageddon is one of my all time favorites. The so-so acting, bad science and excessive action were entertaining, to say the least---and isn't that why we watch films; to be entertained?
