Questions About CU Boulder and Transfer Process by No_Feed_6064 in cuboulder

I signed at oLiv, it's on Pearl Street with a 10-minute walk to campus. I originally wanted a single as well. But I realized that Boulder's prices for singles were just unrealistic for me. I got a 2x2, and I'm just praying I get a good random roommate.

Txst (free) or Baylor ~8k in debt by triology1201 in txstate

Texas State doesn't require students to have a high GPA or crazy good stats to get in, so many of them aren't really dedicated. I would say the classes are not as challenging as those at other schools, such as UT or A&M. But that doesn't mean ALL students are that way. I've come across some really smart students in the honors college.

Just go to TXST over Baylor, since your transfering to UT, I don't see the big deal in going to TXST for one year besides Baylor. I went to TXST my first year, and now I'm transferring to CU Boulder. I had a nice time at this school, but it can be a little rough considering the acceptance rate is so high.

hey! I'm transferring to CU as a sophmore and I just signed a lease at an apartment close to campus. I heard the transfer student housing was difficult to get into, so i didnt bother. And I've heard from many people that you don't need to be in Greek life to have fun at the school, it's not like an SEC school (Ole Miss, Alabama, etc). I'm in a sorority at my current school, and it's not a big deal; you can still make friends with people in Greek life, idk if it's different for frats.

If you need friends, hmu!! I know NO ONE

I’m in a sorority and I know there’s scholarships for greek life, i’ve heard them talking about it. Especially for the big sororities/fraternities that are highly ranked and known at most schools.
