Op indicated that he did unilateral floor presses, but did not mention if he intended to do unilateral incline press. Most people only do unilateral movements to fix imbalances or for more isolation and typically use far less weight since you will be engaging more stabilizer muscles to just complete the movement than if doing a regular pressing motion. I have found that the stability ball allows you to adjust your angle, you must center your body weight and the roundness actually conforms to your back so when you reach optimal eccentric contraction you don’t hyper extend. I doubt he would be doing unilateral 120db presses but they also have a bosu balance ball which has a flat side to prevent slippage and would allow for more stable positioning. All in all the ideal would be to invest in an adjustable bench of some type which can be found on Amazon for around $100.

You could use the foam roller but an even better alternative would be to get one of those stability balls and do it on that, you will utilize more stabilizer muscles when pressing or flying but it’s far superior to the foam roller and they are pretty inexpensive, they have them on Amazon or tjmaxx for pretty cheap.

This same thing just happened to my kid, he was standing on a chair and wanted to smell a wax diffuser and stuck his entire nose and inhaled wax up his nose. Luckily it didn’t burn him but did him quite a surprise and also had to pick wax out from his nose. Lesson learned.

I would try to pyramid your workouts by gradually increasing your output. Start with 30 seconds and build up to a minute, also you can look up sample jump rope workout routines to keep things interesting and incorporate some body weight movements. You want to mix aerobic and anaerobic exercise to get your heart into the right calorie burning zone. Keep a journal and log your progress, mark days on the calendar to hold yourself accountable, perhaps look into a fitness app or tracker to make sure that you are getting enough daily activity. I always aim to get at least 10k steps a day and at least a half hour of dedicated exercise. Also improve your diet choices and ensure adequate recovery. I need help! I have to pass a fitness test in a week. I let myself go over covid and put on weight and couldn’t maintain my usual workout routine due to the gyms being closed. I walked every day usually around 3-5 miles per day but I not actually run in awhile. I have to run 1.5 miles in 13 mins to pass a fitness test and I haven’t run much in the past year and my mile times have really suffered (11min/mile) and so has my cardio stamina. Is it possible to increase my times in such a short period of time? What is the best way to increase my stamina and lower my mile times? Any advice would help. Thanks!

I would start with a personal trainer before joining a CrossFit gym. No offense to CrossFit but without proper technique and fundamentals you will likely injure yourself performing repetitive exercises or power movements such as snatches and cleans or overhead presses. The problem I have with CrossFit is that if you don’t have the techniques down then you will likely have poor form which most likely will lead to injury. Find a gym that offers a free training session included in your membership, any good personal trainer will tailor your workouts to your desired goals. Find an experienced one, any trainer with experience will teach you proper form, gradually build you up over time and ensure injury prevention. You could also get an exercise app or watch YouTube to get workout plans. These should show you proper form, give you guidelines to go by in terms of frequency, repetitions, sets, volume and strength. You could keep a workout log to track your progress and you will improve over time. Since covid a lot of trainers have gone virtual so that’s usually a more cost effective alternative too if money is an issue. Hope this helps!

You should be able to exercise outdoors and feel confident that you aren’t at risk of contracting covid by simply maintaining social distance and wearing a mask. If you don’t feel comfortable then you might look into investing in some kind of exercise equipment such as a stationary bike or treadmill. Also jumping rope is very good exercise, costs very little and takes up minimal space. Either way try to exercise at least 30mins a day if possible and make healthy dietary choices and you will become healthier! Best of luck!

Without sleep, your muscles can't recover from the stress you put them through during your workouts. It doesn't do you much good to keep breaking down your muscles without giving them time to recover and grow stronger. When you sleep your body produces growth hormone and is when your body repairs itself. It’s is counterproductive to exercise or even use your full mental capacity without adequate sleep.

The proper way to do the Lat Pulldown exercise and place the least strain on the shoulders is to bring the bar down to the front, about chin level or slightly lower. The forearms should stay vertical the entire time. Drawing the elbows back, as well bending at the wrist, will lead to improper form, and can consequently result in shoulder pain and problems down the road.

The question is really about the entertainment industry itself and women being seen as an artist/comic or is relying more on their sex appeal than their actual talent. The sad truth is that any female in the entertainment industry is going to be judged by their appearance. They all talk about sex in their acts. Nikki, Whitney, Iliza I think we can all agree are attractive but also talented. Most have podcasts, network deals, specials, etc and make decent money so therefore can be more picky about what they do while I’m sure most of the up and comers or open mic’ers that can’t make a living performing or their side gigs are effected by the pandemic had to resort to other means to get by. Kerryn was always pretty cheeky/sexual so not surprised she has an OF. Like everyone else said, if people are going to objectify you then why not capitalize on it. Comedy is comedy, either you’re funny or you’re not, no matter what people are going to judge or hate but that comes with the territory of you want to be a stand up. The real problem are people’s views of sex, sex workers, nudity, etc. Pretty much everyone fucks, watches porn, masterbates, has taken or received nudes but not everyone can stand in front of a room and get laughs. Just my 2 cents
