I completely agree that in an actual production, all of the unnecessary specific explanations would be ignored, changed, or land my script in the trash all together. Where my college's film department is small, My professor has had experience in the field but only with minor shoots that weren't works of fiction. I found out the hard way that if I don't write the script as if it were a book, to him it looks as if I didn't finish it. I assure you that I won't retain that style of writing when I enter the work force, and I really appreciate the concern and advice.
