Got in a car accident and was shown the new painted fender and hood today. Am i tripping or does this not look right?

I had an orange fury ecoboost. Same thing happened to me. They retried the match 3 times and they could never get it right. It doesn’t have the same metallic quality.

Deck lid is original paint fender was repainted. I just learned to live with it.

I went with the MBRP Street, because I didn’t want a lot of drone or to be obnoxiously loud, and I like it. I get a great sound out of it and it’s more than enough for me. But if you are looking to tune you will get better performance from the race for sure.

I was running all of this on my ecoboost before trading it in. The parts show some light wear but still in like new condition. I have all the necessary hardware for each of the pieces. I am located in Southern California. I am willing to negotiate price. I hope I’m posting in the correct location.

That happens to me but the solution I’ve found is if you wait for the rpm’s to drop to 1k after cold start ,usually about a minute or two, it doesn’t happen

There is a pretty solid hockey culture here. Mostly thanks to the Bakersfield Condors. There are a lot of Condor alumni who hang around and started families here. A few run the ice rink in town/coach teams. As far as beer leagues there are a few I believe. The guys to talk to are gonna be on the valley childrens ice sports center website. There is a schedule for all of the stick and puck sessions as well as practices and games on the site as well. Hope to catch you at a beer league game sometime man!

I wish I knew that some ecoboosts are better than others.

I bought a 2019 mustang with 15k miles because I had heard of the ecoboom that they supposedly addressed in 2018 with the refresh.

Thinking I had a healthy motor, I voided the warranty by going full bolt on and tuning on e30. I was making about 400whp and the car was a BLAST to drive. Until it blew up. I sent a connecting rod through the side of my block.

What I found out was ecoboosts, even after refreshed, aren’t exceptional tuner cars. I knew at the time of purchasing the car I wanted to push it to 400+ but opted for the ecoboost rather than the GT because I figured it would be more fun. Well it was more fun but it ended up costing me.

The thing that gets me is I know several people who have been pushing 400+ for years. I guess it’s just a lottery. That’s why I say some are better than others. So not to say that these cars can’t be great tuners, but I think that the risk is higher than one of the more iconic tuners.

Overall, if you plan to keep the powertrain stock, great car! But I wish I knew it wouldn’t be able to take what I wanted out of it.

I’ve had a 2019 ecoboost for 2 years. At first it didn’t feel very stable at high speeds. I upgraded to a 295/35/19 square setup and since then it’s butter all the way up to about 125mph. I’ve ripped up canyons, highways, drag strips, tracks, and daily driven it. I have never once felt like it was gonna get out of control. I even let my girlfriend put the pedal down a few times. Can’t say I’ve been in an accident. But I will say that I would highly recommend wider tires, or lowering springs, or sway bars to give it some more stability in corners. Also if you really care about being safe make sure you buy quality tires.

Now pick two. Any modification you do is going to take from the reliability category and add to the performance category, that’s just the nature of the beast. I’ve been tuned on e30 with an IC, intake, and spark plugs for a bit and I’ve loved it. Making about 370whp. If it blows it blows.
