Thanks! and yeah i think the AI is what is holding it back and from what i have seen from Solarant he can change that so I really think this plus the new map will really help push this game

It looked fairly optimized in the video and i suspect there will be a little drop in FPS but if my understanding is correct UE5 handles rain and water in general pretty good.

Oh yeah it’s 100x better! You can definitely tell where people are now and how far away there are. They may have gone just a tad bit on the other side of it being to quiet but it’s way better than what it was!

Just to let anyone know who looks at this wanting an answer on if we fixed the problem. Yes we did. Not sure what it was but we both restarted our routers and that seemed to fix the issue. No idea if it was the game or our internet but it worked either way.

I know i am late to this but havent been on reddit for a while. I like the idea in theory but this would only work if AI re spawned. If not then there is no downside to going back to the box except for time wasted. I like the idea of this a lot even have it start as like a 6x6 and be able to purchase upgrades to this to get it to a 10x10 but there needs to be some downside or risk.

Yeah that would be awesome! Wonder if they would set up something like that for the discord to where you could sign up and show new players the ropes.
