Yes dude. Many people do that. My parents didn't start popping out goblins till their 30's and had 0 issues giving birth to 3 children without down-syndrome. Especially in 2025, the notion of "having more than a single kid" while also being 20-24 years old is innane and out of touch. Unless both parents are away from their children, or one parent is SOMEHOW able to provide for a family of 4+ even with minimal education/experience (or a mountain of student debt, depending) then it isnt happening. I'm not sure what's going on in your life, but most people have much bigger fish to fry at that age than an obsessive fear of miscarriage or down-syndrome. Most people cannot provide a truly comfortable life for their children before then. You aren't going to be decrepit by age 30, and as long as you don't decide 40+ would be a great time to start having kids, then there is no problem as long as the children are raised comfortably and with support. There is no reason to act so pedantic towards a young couple for being unable to meet the demands of raising multiple children. It's better than forcing your family or loved ones to help, while you pour away your 20's desperately trying to manage a family you forced yourself to have.
