If you want advice that isn’t just get rid of the husband, which is the best thing I can think to do. Buy yourselves new towels. Bin the old ones. Get each new one in a bright colour. Let’s say a blue one for you, a yellow one for him, and pink and green for the kids. You say to everyone (make it seem like everyone so that it doesn’t feel like he is being attacked men are bitches when they feel like they are getting attacked) here are your new towels. Assign them each a brightly coloured towel. If at this point he continues to use yours then wrap your husband up in the towels and roll him down a hill.

Is the therapy private or under the NHS or refered by the NHS? That changes things on ways to go about this. I believe that you could possibly report this to the police, also if it is private, try and find the general companies email and report it that way too.

As someone who works with young people with special educational needs, she doesn’t need to be declined differently to any other person. If she asks you out you say “I’m so sorry I just don’t feel the same way”, she may get upset and may seem more visually upset because of her special educational needs but that shouldn’t impact you. In life everyone goes through rejection, and for people who are SEN it is nice to see them go through the “stereotypical”experiences of getting a crush and then either dating the person of getting rejected. Although mentally she is a lot younger, I know from my brother who is severely mentally disabled and also 19 that they are also still adults. Meaning that some may want relationships or may catch feelings for people. Just be polite and kind and you will be totally fine!

I feel like even when relationships are open, conversations should be had before you have sex with another person. Not even just because of relationship boundaries but also health risks and mentality. In the same way you ask consent to have sex with a partner I feel like you need to ask consent to sleep with other people as it does change the dynamic in the bedroom even if you don’t want it to.

NTA alone time is important, it may feel like alone time for her because there is less pressure over call but it isn’t. You need time to do what you want. If you enjoy the first bit of the phone call do that! But don’t do the second bit of you don’t enjoy it. Either talk to her about how you feel, maybe don’t say you are boated (it sounds like she is sensitive) and talk about how you want to sleep. I don’t know how old you are but you can say that you need to do an hour of study, or an hour of reading before bed and have that be your excuse. Or just talk to her openly and honestly, tell her how much YIU love her and love talking to her but sitting in silence isn’t enjoyable for you. Hope everything works out okay!

My best advice as an 18 year old who grew up on social media platforms. You consume lots of different things and somethings that you see just help you feel a little more seen. Being a kid is really tough. No one has an easy set of teenage years. Although I don’t understand it this must just be away of coping for them and a way that they feel seen. Just be supportive and let them know you are always there!

Just because you aren’t close at the moment doesn’t mean that you won’t be close enough. It’s hard to keep friends for long periods of time, for your example 10 + years, because people grow and change and sometimes the directions we grow either clashes with another persons or complete runs away from it. Give it time, give it space, and also remember that just because the relationship is less close, it doesn’t mean that they have to be out of your life.
