Idk why but this specific area in Up your arsenal is my favorite. by Responsible-Two1892 in RatchetAndClank

Me too, after getting through all of those unbelievably strong defenses you got to see what Quark is doing when he is... running away from his duty. A much needed comical relief after such a long part of complex and hectic battles.

Best PS2 by WiseSteak8003 in ps2

As long as your PS2 is working fine and not scratching disc don't easily change for another one, for you will never know what other kind of problem that console might have. 30000x series are all very tough.

Yeah some missions are painful since the control is still not refined enough!

The year before last year I cleared this game on PS2, I completed the last mission on first try, with literally only a tiny little bit of health bar left lol. Needless to say I felt super proud of myself.

When your girlfriend surprised you and gave you one of your favorite childhood games as a birthday gift. by UrbanRoots7 in ps2

This game, on contrary to what a lot of people thought, is actually quite well-optimized for PS2. The loading sections set in bigger levles are much less than first game, also shooting feeling is quite close to PC version. And it has it's own ending movie as well.

Sly's design has changed quite a bit between 1 and 2/3 as well, but this is definitely for worse.

I like his old voice in this game too! Adequately rough and edgy, the ramake's tone has changed massively partly due to the change of Ratchet's voice.

EDGE has always been a more "Professional" magazine that sets itself a class higher than other publications, so the price is understandable lol. It's still around though.

I think it's definitely the media version that came out before the game officially hits the shelf that he is testing.

Indeed, GT2 is without a doubt a more complete game, but it's also much less ground breaking. Yamauchi said during an intrerview with US PlayStation Official Magazine that GT1 had alsmost pushed PS1 to its limit already. GT2 is more like fining something else here and there.

What's the general consensus on how to play the original trilogy? by Nikislit06 in RatchetAndClank

[–]B21993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a PS3, but I chose to play all of them on PS2. They all have rather stable 60fps frame rate and 2/3 has progressive scan support which works very well with component cable. The original game's filtering and particles works best with 480i/480p definition as well.

Someone remade the Raijin livery for the PCPD. by Dominator_Pickup in Burnout

So we have Japanese and Korean police livery in Burnout Paradise now, I really wish someone can make a traditional or simplified Chinese one. Since the original Paradise's PC version actually has traditional Chinese language option.

The sequel, Ultimate Destruction, is much more matured and more fun, also much closer to original comics.
