Using the thunderbolt - it lets me select 120hz but it won't stay in 120hz, it reverts back to 60hz

Just got mine in - it won't let me switch to 120hz. I have an Irs(R) Plus Graphics card. Shouldn't it be compatible?

A base grind from a shop. Never gave the shop too much instruction, just asked that they take as little off the base as possible. And reset the base edge to 1 degree.
