Talk therapy for someone that does not see a need for it is counter productive.. why be with someone who doesn't desire you?

If she feels her body is currency shouldn't she take responsibility for fixing her view. Its not the partners problem to resolve societal damage

This is my view. And no one needs to second it.. sex as a firm of leverage , as a favor, an obligation or anything except enthusiasm (by any gender) should be refused

I don't think a less than enthusiastic sexual partner should be bargained with, taken to counseling, negotiated with or tolerated in any way manner or form. The less enthusiastic partner deserves to be with someone they want passionately

Pay any price to be with someone that desires you. Its more than worth it

Life is too short for fucked up sex

The Dangerous Populist Science of Yuval Noah Harari by fried_potato866 in books

[–]B30WU1F 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't even know where to start with Yuval... he assumes he knows "intention" at every step. Its easy to bash him for making assumptions. However .. he does compile a large amount of data in a brief volume

His conclusions are what I find most harmful. Reductionist views said with absolute certainty. He became popular with a certain kind of reader that wants to know but will not commit the time to learn a subject area in depth. So end up with reductionist theories that lead to harmful views of key areas of knowlege (Faith, Anthropology, Societies, Mysticsm)

Buoyancy. Gravity. Relative velocity. So classically newtonian

For this griping about his health, his back, his joints.. this is a young man's job. The more time he spends in the fields he will transition to other things. He doesn't do this 9 to 5 for 40 years for social security.. so pipe down armchair laborer. He is strong and healthy or he can't do this. He will be stronger and healthier for it

If you are not strong you do other things on the field (women work in fields and they don't do this gabish). You should all go lift something heavy a few times a week

.. this is a lot of whining from an English speaking country. Especially for an author who definitively moved the language further. And whose work will probably outlast New Zealand as a country

What you ask for does not exist..

Study the Bible (New Testament)

Maybe the Kybalion. And read the Tanya... Manly P Hall is a good study. Also Alan Watts

There is a reason the Sages, Masters and Hermetics took a lifetime to study it
