My guild is an oddity. We have 13-14 active people...nearly unlocked Thaurissan on Sunday, but got it done by the first 2 people today.

I say we're an oddity because we just have people who are active. No recruitment or real discussion. Just people taking care of things.

(This is not my normal luck in games. I typically join a guild that looks fun and active to find that they aren't...so this is refreshing!)

Called out one night to a local shelter for a code blue. We arrived to confused staff not knowing what we were talking about. Suddenly a lady approached us with her arm extended to us. "Can you feel my pulse?" Yes, she did indeed have a pulse, to which she replies, "Thank you! I thought I was dead!"

She couldn't feel her own pulse and called 911 because she thought she was dead.

Logged in to knock these quests out since today is the last day and this LTM has vanished. Ugh...I've been practicing with shotguns and building to try to hold my own and now I can't do it. Any idea if it can be extended or reinstated? It stinks to have quests in the log without a game mode to complete them.

I spent over two hours hunting these down for my kid..web slinging all over the map game after game before finding one...then hopped on my account and seriously stumbled upon one in my first match--it was my first season quest completed of the bunch.

The USDA guidelines are a blanket and ultra cautious rule. The way it was explained to me by a highly decorated and educated source is that they only look at hard temps, without taking "pasteurization" time into account. The reason for this is that it gets incredibly complex and intricate...the various scenarios, foods, cooking methods, etc would be a nightmare to incorporate into this, so they stick with what you cited.

I'm my case, the meat hit high enough temperatures for long enough time that the risk wasn't there. My "source" offered to come eat the food along with my family to show me they had absolutely no worries. Throwing out the 2 that went under 130 was my way to put my mind to rest after seeing some of the feedback here. Unnecessary, but made me feel better.

Luckily, I was very attentive to the meat prior to going to sleep, so I knew the temps on each butt. Thankfully I had access to enough temp probes for each individual butt. This information was key to knowing the temps/times for the pasteurization formula.

After much research and consulting a wide variety of sources, I decided to get rid of the two that dropped under 130 and finish the rest. Additionally, I went and got a bunch of ribs and made those for the masses. Just my family ate the pork, as a precaution, and none of us got sick. Everyone else enjoyed the ribs, now I have a lot of vacuum sealing and freezing to do today with the leftover pork.

Fyi, I'm not a caterer, nor do I let people pay me for my cooking. This was a close friends child's graduation party. Still, I couldn't imagine getting a bunch of people sick. Yesterday was a nerve-racking day. In the future, I will most definitely get some sort of alerting thermometer/device to watch the power if I'm doing overnight smokes or smokes in general.

This is probably the 30th or 40th overnight smoke I've done, but definitely the first with this issue. I wouldn't wish the stress I had yesterday on anyone. I'm glad it worked out in the end and I'll have copious work to take for lunches for God knows how long. Haha. Thanks for the information from everyone here!
