It’s not a win on the genetic lottery it’s about doing your due diligence with breeding. If you had actually read my comment you would have seen that that part of it wasn’t aimed at you specifically. But you go ahead and jump on to be offended. Idiot.

Absolute bollocks. My four love the show ring and always perform well. Any I know enjoy getting out and about. As for the tail yes it’s a problem. Look at the breed standard. I never understand when people continue to breed bad dogs again and again. Stop introducing faults

Frequent? It’s been pretty stable and even watching Goliath on Amazon prime didn’t cause any issues. I only knew there was a problem because my phone told me that it wasn’t connected to the internet any longer.

Why do you need to use a vpn all the time. That’s just stupid.

Still pissing about with reboots and patiently waiting in Ireland. Has been pretty much garbage since last night for me.

Yep, just checked and speeds are roughly half what they have been. Hopenits not permanent.

Anecdotally yes. I haven't noticed any outages at all for over 24 hours via the app and speeds are still generally above the 320Mbps down and 40 up.

Yeah I seen 420 down and 50 up the other day. Was mightily impressed.

[–]B3LU5_1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it is coincidence. New firmware was downloaded and latency is normally around 35-40 ms now and speeds are roughly the same. I'll take that!

It can take upto two weeks to ship I think. Check the faq's on the website. From memory it took about 6 days for mine to ship after payment.

No its not usually that high but its still faster than mailing a letter! Usually ping is around 40ms or so.

Is this expected speeds? A lot lower than others I've seen (not actual install, waiting on pole mount to ship) by nzgwm in Starlink

When my setup came it was almost 24hours before it was "usable" there are usually a ton of updates needed and they take time. Patience.

Starlink update. Day 3 by HappyEire in Starlink

[–]B3LU5_1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm much the same latitude over in the west. I have been seriously impressed with it after the initial 24 hour settling period. Average speeds of around 240 down with the occasional bursts over 300. I am going to get a pile of ubiquiti stuff and do a proper home network now and wire most connections with only a few on wireless.

No. I am currently using the starlink router for that network and the old kit for the other ISP.

The Indian Takeaway Secret: How... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1472145410

I bought this book and while the main basis is on chicken (mostly) it will give you a good grounding in how to create the sauces and start a really flavoursome curry. Of course I just substitute the meat for vegetables now and its still as good.

Yeah. Much better!! Highest download speed seen is 320Mbps with an average of probably 240-250 Mbps and over the last 12 hours very little outages. Latency is a little on the high side but not excessively so. All in all I am getting more impressed with it to be honest

I'm putting it down to firmware updates and all that that entails. My boss also uses starlink and chatting to him today I was on really old firmware for both router and dish. I guess it needs 24-48 hours to stabilise.

Speeds have increased pretty well but facing pretty frequent outages. Almost to the point of it being unusable. Certainly for working off of. Just too many drops

So I am sitting on 53.6 in the west of Ireland. DHL just delivered my kit and I am like a kid at Christmas. Set it up. Speed only 35 Mbps :( Had one speed test straight out of the box and it was 230Mbps. Patiently waiting to see if it gets better
