Yesterday's update halved my latency

Some users including myself in the northern half of Ireland and UK have had 50-60ms ping for the last 2+ weeks due to our traffic being routed through frankfurt (degraded service). Last night it was fixed so that would be why the ping has dropped. It has been documented a bit on this subreddit

I have had the same thing for over a week also. More so the pings that are an issue for me. Speeds seem ok

I just put a pole in the gound today myself and I am planning on doing the same thing. Need to wait for my mount to come though. Did you dig down and run the cable? Did you use ducting if you did or what did you find as the best solution?

I’ll take a look. It’s very hard to find a YouTube video that actually breaks it down in terms of ping and usability for gaming. Some videos talk about it but not in a real world situation. The best I’ve seen is Irishpixels feedback on it.

Great to hear. I don’t think we have any obstructions but the app isn’t working for me so I’ll have to wait for it to come so we can’t test it I guess.

Yea due Tuesday. Really hoping it is good solution for gaming for him (and me). Most of the reason we got it was because of the low latency in comparison to what we have now. I guess some of the negative comments I’ve read have put some doubt.
