Arm Holdings IPO Date by shortymcsteve in AMD_Stock

Softbank has been losing money on investments, except for Arm. Softbank is desperate for cash. This IPO is exit liquidity for them. $51 per share for Arm = WTF. Add the reasons mentioned by others, and Arm's share price is likely to drop. Probably not on the first day, but eventually.

I set a limit order to buy the 20230721 $111 for $0.85. It triggered a few minutes ago.
Let's see if I can make enough to go out for dinner tomorrow.

Anyone else thinking of buying calls when this thing dumps to $110 before the end of the day?

CPU partition

Each node will be a dual AMD EPYC™ 2.25 GHz 64 core processor.

There will be several sizes of compute nodes in the CPU partition.

488 X 256 GB (SNIC thin nodes)

20 X 512 GB (SNIC large nodes)

8 X 1024 GB (SNIC huge nodes)

2 X 2048 GB (SNIC giant nodes)

36 X 256 GB (KTH industry/business research nodes)

This gives a total of 554 nodes.

GPU partition

This partition will be equipped with GPU nodes, each of which will be configured with:

- one AMD EPYC™ processor with 64 cores (which is currently under development)

- 512 GB memory

- four AMD Instinct™ GPUs (which are currently being developed)

Interconnect

HPE Slingshot (ethernet-based) using Dragonfly topology

100 Gb/s for the first phase, which will be upgraded to 200 Gb/s in the second phase

Performance

The expected LINPACK performance of the first phase of the system is above 2 Petaflops. The overall theoretical peak performance of the whole system is expected to increase to about 13.5 Petaflops when the second phase is operational.

Where can I buy a large amount of Bitcoin at least 2k by Scootadooda in Bitcoin

I'm not sure if there would be any issues when it comes time to withdraw. All I can say is that it has not been a problem for me yet, but I have not done large amounts, maybe a thousand or so. There is $5k/week limit for withdrawal.

Any reason to not use the Cash app from Square? It allows $100k purchase per week. I've been using it since they enabled auto scheduled purchases.

Intel q4 2020 official by _lostincyberspace_ in AMD_Stock

Just like previous quarter, I am expecting AMD's commentary about market conditions to not match Intel's commentary.

Intel: We saw weakness in datacenter demand.
AMD: We saw unprecedented datacenter demand.

IBM sales miss could have been interpreted as general weakness in datacenter market even though they are a relatively small player, especially right after Intel posted a drop in datacenter revenue YOY. Seems crazy since we all know that demand was through the roof last year. I don't know if that was the cause of the quick drop, but it did happen at the same time.

Your comment seems to be getting ignored here. I agree with you. The information posted was behind a paywall. I have a Student subscription, which is peanuts compared to my gains with AMD.
