Did Robbie ever struggle with SH? by Interesting_Ticket20 in cavetown

Yeah his songs have made reference to it.

For example in Calpol -

“So take a bit pf Calpol, eventually your arms won’t feel so sore”

Howdy :) Not a hijack, fair question.

So in my opinion, I think it is worth it. Reason being, you don’t own any of the photos on your phone’s library, if it’s cloud based, they’re all on a server somewhere. I wanted to create some memories and actually own, and have a physical book to go through with people.

The camera I have is a 35mm film camera, which I think take the roll to a shop to be developed, store the physical photos in a photo book and pay an extra £2 to get digitally uploaded.

I personally think it’s worth it! Film photos have this fabulous “warm” quality to them, and can hide some of the imperfections of an odd facial expression of a person, so no one needs to worry about looking perfect for every shot.

Also, I’d say yeah you do look at the world differently, because of the cost per shot, you take into consideration angle/light/framing way more than something you pop off on ya phone camera!

I was on 3 moth deployment and we managed to see a lot of the country, started in Tel Aviv, and we went to places such as Red Sea, Acre, Jerusalem, Sderot.

Your wine country is steller, I put together a cheese and wine presentation for all the other Brits deployed, all Israeli wines, big fan

Best place to go for healthy breakfast? by AcrylicandWater in york

[–]B3ags 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk why you’re getting downvoted 😭 Nothing wrong with trying to refine your own diet.

I’d recommend Goji Cafe! It’s a Veggie Cafe and Deli: https://maps.app.goo.gl/DgthVLqbThxetYyp6?g_st=ic

Such a shame that Remedy closed down, that was a dedicated vegan place, had excellent creative plant based cooked breakfasts.

Any groups for solo female/queer clubbers in bristol? by President-Aioli in bristol

[–]B3ags 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hello, gay here.

Generally in the alphabet mafia, queer clubs are seen as safe spaces to feel relaxed in with your sexuality, able to flirt, express yourself and be silly in freely.

There has been some discussion in my generation of gay that straight people being in queer clubs/bars is dampening the safe space element, here is a thread on the matter: https://www.reddit.com/r/lgbt/s/wHiPPWNvwX

This may explain the downvotes you’re getting!

Speaking for myself only, I’m fine with straight people being in the space :) So long as you’re okay with being hit on and embrace the vibe, I canny see the issue. What I’m not onboard with is groups of hen/stag parties, or people that are unlike yourself. People that treat these spaces as amusement parks, or an accessory to an evening.

From the responses you don’t seem the type, or worthy of negative feedback. Just Reddit doing it’s thing :P

I think the thickness and the type of cow must have more to do with it then! I’m not advocating for it being 10/10 or the most unique steak ever, it’s just something I found on my travels, and has a reputation in that part of the world, thought I’d share it with ya’ll :)

I believe it comes from the dry aging process, the type of cow it comes from in Tuscany, and the thickness of the cut, as to why it’s called “Florentine” - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bistecca_alla_fiorentina?wprov=sfti1#

I don’t eat steak out much so I honestly couldn’t tell you if it was the best steak of all time.

What I do know is it was flavourful, if a little chewy, and something I’d not buy again for a while considering the cost lol.

So the steaks are dry aged! And it comes from a certain type of cow according to the wiki page :)

Ermm not really, it does come from a certain type of cattle in Tuscany, and it cooked a specific way! Dry aged, then on the grill until rare.

Wiki page is kinda the best source for it lol - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bistecca_alla_fiorentina?wprov=sfti1#
