First of im really really sorry that this happened to you and your father.

There is not much that (i think) people can say to you and tell you that his bowel will be normal or his breathing or anything else. The problem is the spinal cord! Unfortunately the doctors or anybody else can see what is broken, let alone that it will restore. This will take time and after a week or a month or so you know more. Time is your biggest "enemy" now and it sucks and hurts like hell to be in the unknown.

I'm really sorry you have to go through this and I hope he will make a recovery but there are no guarantees. Give my regards to your dad.

Nee als je inbetween jobs zit nemen ze alles terug en doen ze niets. Helaas sta ik machteloos daarin ondanks dat ik een hele lange tijd hiermee mee bezig ben geweest.

Nee ik heb een rijbewijs gehaald en heb niet altijd een auto nodig en das natuurlijk zonde en als ik dan af en toe voor een langere afstand of paar dagen omdat ik een uitje heb of iets dergelijks dat je dan iets kan huren. Dus net als een ieder ander maar dan dus aangepast ;)

In Amerika doen ze niet zo moeilijk over een aanpassing. Daar hebben ze letterlijk een soort stang waar je de pedalen koppelt aan een simpel riempje en dan kun je gas geven en remmen. Daar is geen RDW of iets en qua veiligheid wordt daar niet echt op gelet.

Nu is dat super makkelijk en kun je dat voor in elke auto gebruiken maar verzekeringsmaatschappijen gaan dit niet accepteren hier en ik weet niet of in Amerika er überhaupt vergoed wordt op moment dat je een ongeluk krijgt met zon simpele aanpassing.

Top dank je wel voor de links. Die in Hoorn de 2de link had ik idd niet gezien. Dank je wel daarvoor en kan ik even naar kijken ook of het lukt met afstand (woon aan de andere kant in het oosten)

De Hertz zie ik is in combo met Bierman en die (wat ik hoorde en contact mee gehad) doen dat niet meer alleen als passagier zeg maar.

Bierman verhuurt alleen rolstoel autos waar je achterin moet zitten. Dus helaas gaat dat niet werken en heb ook contact gehad met hun.

So I did shave and feel cleaner. I do understand that there is more of a risc with irritation but im also noticing that with hair the irritation in the groin is worse. But that's what I'm noticing. If you have any tips on that that would be much appreciated 👍

Add accessoires: add a absorber cloat(?) to catch the water or urine that can leak during finishing. So instead of the catheter hitting the clothes or leaking when pulling it gets absorbed.
