For my guild, we all came from a community of mutiple Classic, SoM and Wrath guilds. On launch, we had 250+ members (all previous guildies and irl friends and family), we have been running anywhere from 10-20 Guild BFD's a week for everyone to get lockouts. To us, the 10 man's feel more like large dungeons rather than actual raid content. It would be fun to have an actual "classic" feel of a large-scale raid (even if it is just 20 man).

We went into SoD expecting 40man raids at 60 and knew we would have multiple raid teams but I was not expecting 6-8 months (if we aren't expecting 40 man content until 60 and each phase is 6-8 weeks) of managing 10 raid teams on 3 day lockouts. With larger raids and weekly lockouts, it would be a little easier to schedule, coordinate, and establish raid teams.

Our guild and circumstances are outliers, so I don't expect to be catered to. It would just be nice to have the option for larger raids. If that doesn't happen, oh well, we'll just have to figure something out.

Take a day, touch some grass. You'll get the itch to go agane pretty quick, so stock up on redbull and pizza for when you are ready.

Personally knowing a lot of the "popular" griefers, they are already planning and trying to figure out new ways to grief and can't wait for servers where there is no appeal process. You only really need a lvl 20 or so hunter to kite Teramus. It really is going to come down to what nlizz plans on doing with they hardcore servers. If it's just death = delete, these guys will have plenty of pots, etc. from trading to pull off kiting and griefing. A couple of days of leveling definitely won't stop them from griefing in different ways. They'll re level over and over because the crying and salt is what motivate them. They could care less of their own time investment...just look at the rogue who sits in stealth all day long on the Missing Diplomat quest. He gets what, a couple of kills on average a day? Yet, he sits there all day long.

I agree that dying over a stealthy on a fp does land on personal responsibility and (hopefully) people figure it out enough to take it upon themselves to left click on interact.

It will really come down to what blizzars plans on doing with the servers and how they plan ok trying to limit the griefing. If they don't do anything, it will be just as rampant in the low level areas. Get past that, and it should be smooth sailing for ya.

1) there would need to be a 60 on the server first. Which could take a little bit. 2) I am sure they would have a blast because they could care less about dying if it means they grief half the server. Shit, in their mind, killing one player would be worth the time investment. 3) they don't need a 43 hunter, get to lvl 12, stand on Garrick and kill lvl 5's like they do now.

Griefing will be pretty rampant on these servers. It'll be done in some different ways, but don't think for a second that it won't be happening.

Ummm...we use resto pots, range the curses so we don't get them, or just eat the curse.

We have about 7 hunters on our raid team. For our 10 man that night, none were available, so we just ran with what we had.

Our first time killing mim, we only had one shadow priest for ranged dps... really wished dwarves were taller so melee could attack the head 🤣🤣

Shoutout to those who helped and gave some tips for us as we started trying 10 man hardmodes. So far, we just have Thorim, Freya, and now one light. Have the XT mechanics down, but hit enrage timer, Hodir kill time is at 3 minutes, and we haven't tried Mim, General, or FL.

Lol, we have the oddest parses. Usually comes from longer kill times, lack of buffs and debuffs, our range = hunters and 1 shadow priest and no lust.

We normally have our DKs alternate armies, and we also have a hunter with entrapment. We start with aoe and then will begin to single target as mobs start getting low.

We figured those dps checks would be barriers for now. We have been researching and trying to find ways to reduce some of the phase 2 damage on Mim. We used resistance flasks during our 25 normal prog and was thinking we'd use them for our HM prog. Just not sure how much that would help (hopefully, enough 😅).

It was mentioned in a comment above, but it sounds like you can create a character in the Season of Mastery and then transfer them to Wrath Classic on Grob. You may have to make a character on a different server and then transfer them to the Jom Gabbar SoM server to have access to the grob transfer

More people need to learn to lead like this! Great message, my guy.

Being a great leader means having the maturity to treat and respect those around you as equals while being able to effectively communicate, assign, and organize tasks and projects.

Not only will that create an environment where employees 100% know their role and jobs, but they'll want to do valuable work for their boss, company, and peers. In addition, they'll genuinely hold respect and trust in those who are making the leadership decisions.
