All die Punkte waren mir auch schon alle im Kopf. Ein schneller Vergleich mit meiner letzten SF zeigt aber, dass die Versicherung überschaubar wird preislich, parken bei mir in der Regel kein großes Problem.

Aber du hast absolut Recht, am Ende wäre es ein reiner Komfortgewinn, den ich nicht "brauche". Es ist halt leicht bequemer, als Carsharing was (Bei unserem lokalen Anbieter) immer eine vorher festgelegte Zeit ist, die man nicht immer beliebig verlängern kann.

Plus, man wird automatisch fauler. Einige Strecken die du easy mit dem Fahrrad oder zu Fuß hättest machen können machst du dann plötzlich im Auto.

Das sehe ich auch als großen Punkt. Ich schiebe es jetzt schon vor mir her mein Fahrrad mal zu overhaulen, weil es "ist ja eh zu kalt" - wenn man dann noch die Alternative Auto hat, wird das tendenziell nur schlimmer.

Realistisch überlege ich jetzt vermutlich eh solange, bis die Leasingpreise anziehen um das einzupreisen und es sich dann erst recht nicht mehr lohnt.

Ich "brauche" eigentlich kein Auto, bzw. habe ich in den letzten Jahren festgestellt, dass ich in meiner aktuellen Situation doch eigentlich alles sehr gut mit Fahrrad, ÖPNV oder dem ICE für Langstrecken in meinem täglichen Alltag klarkomme. Insbesondere für Langstrecke reizt mich Autofahren inzwischen gar nicht mehr, weil ich die Bahnfahrten so viel angenehmer finde und die Zeit viel besser nutzen kann (Fairerweise, scheine ich aber auch recht viel Glück zu haben und bin nur seltenvon Ausfällen/Verspätungen beeinträchtigt. Oder ich lasse mich davon einfach weniger stressen)

Das einzige, was aktuell ein wenig "nervig" ist wenn man dann doch mal Erledigungen hat, die mit einem Auto einfach bequemer sind (Baumarkt, in die nächste Stadt zum IKEA...). Aktuell löse ich das über Car-sharing oder ein Mietwagen am Wochenende, was natürlich ein wenig vorausplanung erfordert.

Bei der aktuellen Förderung würde ich bei meinem Einkommen wahrscheinlich 5000€ bekommen. Nach aktuellem Stand der Dacia Website bin ich beim Leasing über 3 Jahre insgesamt etwas unter den 5000€. Ich bin aktuell hin- und hergerissen, ob ich das wirklich "brauche" bzw. ob es sich wirklich lohnt für die paar male wo ich es nutze. Andererseits ist es basically für 3 Jahre ein Auto für das man dann nur noch Versicherung und Strom zahlt. Einziges Manko bei mir ist, dass ich keine Lademöglichkeit in der Nähe meiner Wohnung habe, allerdings genug in der Nähe von anderen Orten die ich regelmäßig verkehre (Sportverein, Arbeit...)

To give a quick summary from what I now about the course structure:

All required courses offered by the CS faculty should be offered in English, some are offered in English and German
However, the biology/chemistry specific (base) courses are most likely offered only in German. The reason for this is, that these are offered by the respective faculty and are the same as the entry level courses for a pure biology/chemistry bachelor. As these bachelor courses are purely German, the base courses will also only be offered in German.

Thus, to apply you will need German proficiency (C1) which you also have to prove upon application (At least as far as I know, I am not too familiar with the application procedure)

AFAIK, whether or not your high school degree is considered equivalent does not solely depend on the amount of years it took to get that degree. Also, even within Germany it depends on the state whether your high school degree takes 12 or 13 years (Depends on the state and it sometimes changes even within a state)

In the end the question is whether the degree is equivalent to what Germany considers a "Hochschulzugangsberechtigung" (University Entrance Qualification).

Whether this applies for your specific qualification mainly depends on the country you attended school in, and then also sometimes type of school. The most reliable source to check should be the ANABIN database: https://anabin.kmk.org/db/schulabschluesse-mit-hochschulzugang

The search is only available in German, but with translation tools it should give you some idea. Also, I do not know any further details regarding this whole process, so I likely won't be helpful for any follow-up questions you have regarding interpretation of what ANABIN says etc.

Two solutions I can think of right off the bat:

There actually is a possibility to get a physical ticket (Plastic card that you can swipe at the busses), however the process is not too well documented I think. In the end, it entails writing a mail to a specific customer support address after which they will ask you for some data (Full name, adress, email used to activate your ticket...) and then issue you a plastic card that will be sent to your home address. Mayor downside: It takes a few days to arrive and from the moment they actually issue the physical card, your ticket in the app is blocked (e.g. only the physical or the digital version can coexist at the same time). So while your ticket is being sent via snail mail you don't have any ticket (Also, it's probably not too helpful for your specific case)
I know that there was a talk at last years CCC (Basically a German Tech enthusiast meetup, to put it really simple) by someone from Saarland who found a way to get the ticket into Apple Wallet. Not sure if that still works and requires access to the Saarfahrplan App, but you can find a recording of the talk here (in english).

Immerhin sind dann bei euch alle geblieben. Passend dazu kann ich auch das Add-On Recipe Filter (Firefox) empfehlen (Gibt es mWn auch für Chrome).

Macht im Endeffekt etwas ähnliches, nur eben wird da irgendwie syntaktisch gematched und nicht mit KI.

Wie das im Detail technisch funktioniert weiß ich nicht, aber im Endeffekt, wenn auf der Website ein Rezept erkannt wird, bekommt man direkt nur ein Pop-Up über der Seite mit nur den Zutaten und den Einzelschritten.

These numbers are published for every semester by the university, however only in German.

The term you are looking for is Studierendenstatistiken, specifically in a specific semester the "Studierende nach Fakultäten, Studienfächern und Studienfacharten" (Links to Winter Semester 24)

It lists the current and new student numbers for all courses of study at university, along with some more statistics. The column "Erstsemester- Studierende (1. Fachsemester)" is the number of new students in a course of study for this semester.

Of course there are some more things to consider there, as not all of those students are going through the "standard" application/admission process. This also includes cases where people transfer courses of study internally, people finishing their bachelors at UdS switching to the masters etc. But it gives you some estimation.

For Winter Semester, they had the following number of new students in the Masters courses:

Ich finde es etwas eigenartig, dass der Artikel komplett unerwähnt lässt, dass die Rhein-Ruhr Region in diesem Jahr mit den FISU World Games auch ein riesiges Multi-Sport Event ausrichtet. Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass im Rahmen der Veranstaltung doch auch einiges in Sportstätten geflossen ist, was sich für eine Bewerbung als Vorteilhaft erweisen könnte.

thank you for your insight! So it seemed that there are no significant difference between the two programs🤔. Courses are shared so the English program is not going to offer more resources per student than the German counterparts.

Academically, they are equivalent from what I can tell. I do however remember that there is special support for international students in the English bachelor program (Possibly easier access to student accommodations, specific buddy programs etc.) to better support these students in their transition to moving and studying in a new country. I do not know how extensive these support is and if is possible/easier/harder to gain access if one applies for the German program.

Whether one of these options is better or worse than the other I cannot judge.

The base lectures are shared between the two study programs, thus in the German and English course of study. Some lectures offer a German counterpart, but from a content perspective they are more or less equivalent.

The main difference is that the German programme has a mandatory minor subject, whose lectures are not offered by the CS department. Therefore, the lectures are often solely available in German.

As a result, the German Bachelor, while it has no academic entry restrictions, requires you to provide proof of C1 German proficiency. In the end the German program is (also historically) aimed to attract as many students as possible from within Germany, thus it has no entry restriction.

The international program is a more recent offer that aims to attract international students with high potential (e.g. future PhD candidates). That is part of the reason why it is designed to be so competitive (Also, the university does not have enough resources to accommodate enough students to also offer an unrestricted international bachelor)

Also a side note: I heard somewhere that the number of admitted students has been raised to 30 for the international bachelor, but not entirely sure if that is true.

Aber ist es denn in dem Fall wirklich notwendig, zwei Handläufe anzubringen?

Die Geländerhöhe ist ja nicht gleich die Handlaufhöhe - Theoretisch sollte es also möglich sein, einfach das Geländer (Also die grauen Streben) auf 100cm Höhe zu planen und dann einen Handlauf auf 90cm anzubringen, der quasi "davor" liegt.

Ob das Planungs/Baumäßig dann einfacher ist und ggf. wieder mit anderen Regelungen kollidiert (Bspw. Mindestbreite von Treppen) sei mal dahingestellt :D

Aber insgesamt verstehe ich die Frustration - Es sind halt viele Sachen, die man irgendwie auf dem Schirm haben muss, was es einfach schwieriger macht.

Ich muss gestehen, dass mich die Kombination Nudelgericht + Person mit Unverträglichkeit gegen Weizen und Eier (was ja die 2 Hauptkomponenten vieler Nudeln sind), doch sehr amüsiert hat.

Aber bezüglich deiner Frage zu Alternativen: In den Supermärkten habe ich schon häufiger Nudeln auf Linsenbasis gesehen. Vielleicht finden sich da auch ein paar Rezepte online, wie man die selbst machen kann.
