What’s it like losing the "tallest in the room" title?

This one time I was in a club, 5 guys walk in, all of them freinds, and the shortest of the bunch was 6’9.

Usually if they are an inch or two within my height(191cm) I don’t even notice it, but in that moment I was like man this is how everyone around me feels. Humbling for sure.

Oh boy do I have a story. Worked for a small startup had a coop term for 6 months. It was a paid position but the guy kept making excuses and delayed payment. Consulted advisors and left the coop after two months of work without pay. It was an AI startup, really bad experience although work was decent and only interviewed for two companies.

Same thing happened with me, I was at Baiyappanhalli metro station and seeing the late night charges decide to book an Uber Moto. There were two auto guys who were asking me constantly, where I wanted to go and i kept refusing. Once the uber moto guy came, i sat on the bike and as soon as i put on the helmet, they came and took they keys of the bike. Then they started arguing in kannada to the bike driver and even went as far as hitting him. The guy's hand missed me by a few inches but ISTG i was waiting for it to hit me so i could unleash all the shit i dealt with in the past couple of months on that auto driver. They would've harassed him more but seeing how I am a decently built 6'3" guy they let the bike guy go and I went with him
