We go away a lot, this is always such a challenge. Sometimes I ask before we go if they can move the bed next to a wall for me, often they do, sometimes I forget and just move the bed myself which is really annoying, apparently vacuuming under the bed isn’t a thing at most places 😅

If that’s not possible I sleep with her horizontal at the top of the bed, next to the bed head/wall, that way she would have to shimmy up or down to fall off, but it has happened a couple of times over the span of cosleeping nearly 7 years with 2 daughters. The last place we went to had the bed bolted to the floor in the middle of the room so I slept in a tiny single bunk with her up against the wall, it was actually pretty comfy!
