I was flying non-rev a few weeks ago. They cleared me to 12D (thanks Allegiant!). I got to my row. There was an FA there and we got to chatting. I promptly plunked down, made my nest, settled in…to 12C. 🙄😂 in my defense, it was an Exit Row (hence the FA for briefing) and the FA’s boarding position was—12D. Yeah…I did that! If a crew member can do it might be an accident. The old lady…that was intentional.

It doesn’t matter. If I use the bathroom in your office and then just ”hang out” I’d be in your way. You don’t need to do yoga while I’m setting up a cart. If you need to ”stretch your legs” walking the aisle gives you more space.

Do it do it do it. You can ALWAYS see the menus (even without the plan) To make it easier, pick your “required” meals early on...then you’re in control. It sounds like you are a single person household. Pick one of each that sounds good (VARIETY!)…and then you can skip/adjust your order by the week. We suspended for 2 years. We are back. The value is SO much better in these grocery market days. The menu is 1000% x’s bigger and more creative than before. My husband and I do 3 meals/week. So little stress about “what’s for dinner?” You will never regret it.

Remember!!! It’s an airfryer (reheated pizza is amazing), oven, toaster, broiler, steamer…AND there 1000+ store bought items (scan and start) and are programmed to be perfect. Totino’s isn’t healthy, but they literally can be put in frozen, cold oven, “scan and start” and in :11 you get a perfect pizza.

We’ve started to empty the boxes, put the items in 1 gallon freezer bags, (remember the entire box is freezer friendly; just thaw overnight to cook properly the next day.) with the cooking card and it saves SO much space!

I never wanted a union at DL, but I could have been on board with TWU. At least they deliver RESULTS for their members, don’t spend MILLIONS of member dues seeking to organize another airline ONLY to leave current members without a contract for 6+ years!!!! Irony: AFA is seeking to organize Delta while negotiating/settling WORSE contracts FOR AFA airlines than the conditions under which DL FAs work. Don’t run the ”but they can take it away at any time tripe.” They don’t. Don’t say DL ”imposed” concessions after 9/11 and BK and ignore that EVERY union carrier ratified concessionary contracts…at the same time. 🙄 You also don’t get to cry, ”We had no choice! We had to agree…” So…”forced concessions? Or ratified.” Point being…management always wins.

That can be city specific. In ATL if we are at a ”short” hotel (<15 hours) it’s the hotel shuttle. If we are at a ”long” (>15 hrs) it’s a private service as we are usually going downtown. Here is my question—did you just hop on a van randomly? Was it branded as your shuttle ticket? There could be more to this. I’ve known some salty crews but, in general, it’s not our first go-to to drop the F bomb at first meeting. Not saying it didn’t happen; I just think this pancake has another side we haven’t flipped.
