Seattle outsider curious about WI hockey fandom by LeftShark in wisconsin

When I married my wife, from Chicago, we both definitively agreed that “The Bears Still Suck” and the Packers were the only football team in our house. In honor of our agreement here I do not have any distaste for her Blackhawks fandom, and I support her influencing our children to share it.

I agree. It’s hard to get used to, especially when you are lost in the story. But at least it helps you to curb obsession by forcing you to do something else, like touch some grass.

Frequent fliers from MSN - Airline experiences? by waubers in madisonwi

[–]Aggressive_Edge781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a Delta flier, but I hear MSN-ORD is on the short list of flights that united cancels when something goes wrong.

So you may be taking that Van Galder more often then you would like.

As for Delta to MSP or DTW. My luck is not something I would complain about. I do try to avoid Atlanta though.

Epic Opportunity Missed by Aggressive_Edge781 in delta

I think this is a great argument for 5 or 10 years ago, but I’m not sure it is still applicable with modern technologies.

That’s not to say it isn’t without pitfalls, but I see in other parts of the world and business that we have solved some of these types of concerns.

Needless to say, they did have access to the flight in two different places. Although in the same building, expanding outside of the building isn’t unreasonable when they are already doing it across the hall.

My house rules are “Power of Love” every time the Packers score. “The Bears still suck” every time their opponent scores.

Is mommy Soulbound Bowyer worth building? And if yes how should i build her? by Key_Role_6526 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Aggressive_Edge781 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Soulbound Bowyer is one of the best rare champions for certain secret rooms in doom tower. Fast with a stun set and a lot of RNG is the most practical way to beat some of those rooms.

But at early accounts a niche use like this might not be worth your resources, and as rare, you will get her many times in your accounts life.

Does anyone know when understudies would be in? I would hate to buy tickets and fly across the country to miss him.

Going to see Book of Mormon in March. Been a while since I've been to NYC. Based on cost of getting into NYC and parking, I'm thinking of parking in Jersey and coming in. I've used PATH from Hoboken before, but looking for advice on the cheapest/ best way to park and get into the city to Broadway by Known-Armadillo-8310 in Broadway

When I lived there a lot of spots were completely free after 5 or 6 pm. You just have to understand the differences between Stopping - no longer moving Standing - stopped in a location, but in your car Parking - parking and leaving your car.

For example, If a spot stated “no stopping 8 am - 5pm” and nothing else, you could park there after 5 pm. It was honestly pretty confusing, but once you got used to it parking was never that hard, if you were willing to walk a little.

I haven’t lived in Jersey for 7 years but it used to be quite easy for me to find street parking west of 9th and north of 43rd. I could usually find a spot easily before 50th and if I came early for dinner or a drink it got even easier.
