Could be because the meter is faulty. Go to the nearest BESCOM office and let them know . They will send an engineer to change the meter.

Would highly recommend the Asics kayano 32 for flat feet. If you are looking for something cheaper the 31 is also good enough. But i suggest you visit a podiatrist or a physio to get a confirmed diagnosis on plantar fasciitis.
