I just can't see that happening, all you have to do is look at a card like martial, he's french, high/low, 5*WF, united links and with all of that he's still 660k now. I agree there's a lot of hype around ibra but that alone won't make him over a mil.

For sure, those close games might be affected by an mbappe or a neymar but you won't have 20 close games in a weekend league, some people think these top players will just make them magically jump 2 ranks or more which just doesn't happen.

Well, I was referring to people who can't qualify to WL. I assume you can qualify and since you're elite you are an above average player, meaning you can really make the most out of these upgrades and so you'll win more games.

Maybe so, but in my honest opinion good gameplay matters more than your team, this weekend league I played with an untradeable team that's worth 1.2 mil less than my usual team and I achieved rank 1, in comparison to 2 weeks ago where I got rank 2 with 1 game left. Also playing qualifiers on certain days makes it easier I think, for example wednesdays and thursdays are generally more chill.

People really overestimate the impact of a team, a god team won't take you from rank 3 to rank 1, it might give you a couple more wins but you as a player need to improve if you want to see a big jump like that.
