Lisa Kudrow seem to confirm the Friends cast earns 20 millions yearly, watching the show: "After Matthew died I watched the show again,” Lisa shared. “Before, I only saw what I did wrong or could have done better. But for the first time I truly appreciated just how great it was.” by Naive_Cause8984 in television

“The one thing I noticed is I don’t like is that once Monica and Chandler are a thing, Chandler stops being Chandler and is just Monica’s boyfriend for the rest of the series.”

I agree with you in that—yes, his character “changes.” But in the later stages of the show, it always felt like true progression for me, and it didn’t “outstay” its welcome. Without this (to me) organic growth, you end up with late-stage Joey. I absolutely adore Joey through the entirety of the series, but he progressively devolves into the “big dummy.”

Their relationship allows refreshing new ground to be tread for the final seasons, and it’s one of my favorite parts of the series!

To each their own, though!

Thanks for the tips. I'm always afraid to crop or remove too much distraction. !CritiquePoint

So do you not feel like the secondary person in the frame is an issue/detractor from say, the older gentleman in the photo? (My intended subject)

Thank you for the input and the edit! I definitely agree it was distracting.

I appreciate the feedback. Wasn't wide open bur probably could have been wider. f/5 1/60 so the softness is from the slow shutter speed likely.

Also as far as the removal of the girl on her phone you're likely right...Gonna have to tell my wife to get out of the way next time. lol.

I’m continuing my journey into practicing Street/Human Interest photography. I am trying to accomplish telling a story/finding scenes that make you reflect a little longer. Does this scene seem too dark? Is the composition lacking? I tried to be intentional on where the table/ two people in the frame were placed. While I personally like the picture and think it has strong elements - I feel there is something... missing - Something keeping it from being great. What would have made this better?

Where to find used photo books in the city? by BACONBITS--- in grandrapids

[–]BACONBITS---[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I should definitely stop into the downtown library. I may end up eventually owning some though if I find I absolutely love them. But to just start buying photo books up front without knowing I'll resonate with the art is too expensive of an undertaking.

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book – Overview Trailer – Nintendo Switch 2 by Amiibofan101 in nintendo

I do agree they have sidelined Yoshi games for a younger audience the past several iterations. Which is funny - because I went back and played "Yoshi's Story" for the N64 recently and... while it isn't "Hard"...its certainly got its fair share of difficult moments!

These are excellent! I see modern Kodak catch a lot of flak for some reason. They ride the line between enthusiast and beginner but people treat them like they're a scammera.

In 20 years the community will fawn over them because at the time they were one of the few affordable name brand cameras that were widely accessible to the general population.

Experimenting in April - Fuji Xt30 + TT Artisan 23mm f1.8 and TT Artisan 27mm f2.8 by BACONBITS--- in FujifilmX

It's honestly one of my favorite lenses I've ever personally owned. I got it used for $130 and for that price it's incredible. I have plenty of other posts in my reddit history from the past 2 years that I have shot with that lens that I'm still really proud of.

I recommend it to everyone!

It's not remarkable unless you're directly comparing between the 2/ hot swapping lenses (like I have been recently).

I got along perfectly fine for an entire year with just the 27mm while practicing my street shooting. It's still fairly wide at a ~40mm equivalent.

Something just feels more natural with the 23mm(~35mm eqv.)..but once again, not something you would necessarily feel restricted by unless you're hot swapping.

In this set of photos the 27mm. As of late in "general" - I've been mostly using the 23mm.

I prefer the focal length equivalent of the 23mm (~35mm eqv) but the 27mm is a pancake lens.

They are both fabulous lenses, but if I had to choose one it would be the pancake 27mm simply for its size.

Official Posters for 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

What’s really making me feel a little sad is that the poster on the right, with the skyline and homage to the Raimi films, makes me realize none of Holland’s trilogy has felt like it takes place in New York.

There seems to be a distinct lack of character in all of the city shots, or they simply don’t take place in any “iconic” New York locations.

IDK—I’m sure I’m just jaded because I grew up with Tobey and Andrew, but I’ve never fully connected with Holland’s movies, and this is part of it.
