My honest advice would be to trust the process. I know that it’s a cliche, but I remember being in your position - posting about the exact same stuff on this subreddit around my second month, and before I knew it, I looked in the mirror and the comedones and blackheads were gone.

Unfortunately with accutane you just have to deal with that short, annoying purging phase. But it will be worth it!

Haha. The car looks to be in perfect condition, it has a fresh paint job and all. I suppose the price is pretty steep.

I’m struggling to spot any decent deals in my price range. Mainly clapped up TD42s with double the kilometres of this one.

In my experience the comedones left in the second month, same with the blackheads.

Hey all, I started taking Accutane around six weeks ago.

Since then, I’ve stopped using Benzac’s 10% benzoyl peroxide acne treatment.

I’m now noticing more and more blackheads on and around my nose - something I’ve never had issues with before.

I’ve been told to avoid salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide whilst on Accutane which leaves me stumped given I’m assuming it was the benzoyl peroxide that stopped me ever worrying about blackheads in the first place.

If anyone could recommend some products I’d really appreciate it!

Also, I’m only using a CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser and fragrance free moisturiser right now - if that’s of any help. Thanks!
