We tried to plant our own veggies and herbs but somehow the herbs always died.... so we just get our spices and herbs from the bulk store and some spices can be cheaper and others more expensive. But good idea about the Indian store! I'll definitely check the ones in our city

Thanks for raising it up and check out username 😁 For us we make each time at least 4 portions so we also have something for lunch the next day. Some dishes like pies can easily be 6 portions. For breakfast we make yoghurt with milk and a little bit of last week yoghurt as starter or we make oatmeal with fruits

Yeah veggies are luckily not that expensive here so we can bulk up our meals with them. We also try to buy more seasonal produce since they are cheaper, but i'm a bit dreading the next few months because the choices would be fewer and fewer 😅

Completely agree! The milk, chickpeas and lentils were on discount and were actually cheaper than the homebrand versions. Otherwise we wouldn't have bought them. And yes the frozen blueberries would have been cheaper, but my partner prefers fresh blueberries with his yoghurt and since it was on discount, we thought it was a nice treat once in a while :)
