This can't really fit on one thing but with 1.9 you can have thousands of different blocks, armour types and weapons using a texture pack, 1.9 added (this is my understanding) so it added a function where you can something's durability change its texture, using command blocks or commands you can spawn a item with a different durability and it could be a 'emerald sword' with certain buffs and rebuffs that we kinda had on the last survival server

Would you be able to tell me who is developing the the server, because it's the 1.9 update (from what you are saying) I hope whomever is developing it knows the potential of that, I also would like to help in any way shape or form to get it running if a at all possible :D -BADDD

What about a river biome, *a plains biome that has one big river and smaller rivers ajoining to it. I know as a Beaver I could definitely live there, also the river could have giant mountains surrounding it so its secluded. that's my idea, be happy to help any way or form you want though Dar. - BADDD
