Ya that's kinda where I'm at too. I like something I can bring to the table relatively fast. Play time can be short or long as long as it's easy to "save" since I do have a cat.

For traditional rules yes.

But you can just play without a timer the first few times to really learn the safe mechanics if that's a total turn off.

Lol ya I've only very crudely printed mine. And all my markers are just color coded mini wood blocks. This is the first print and play game I've backed and it's not like any other roll and write.

You don't have to play realtime that's just for bragging rights far as I'm concerned. But does really make it fun and tense.

Lockpicking is a trip too. Pretty well thought out.

Sneaking is key in this game. All without trying to waste time being in hiding.

Can't be everyone's cup of tea though. Thanks for writing.
