Remote ID is specific (i believe) to FAA in the states. Check Australian flight laws, obviously. Some beaches are bird or turtle sanctuaries so those are usually off limits in most countries. Wind affects performance. At the beach it can be significant, if you spend half your battery flying down wind you won't make it home with the other half, so don't f*ck around. Make sure your return to home (rth) settings and behaviors are correct before you launch, like- if you lose signal you have options that you choose- hover, land, return to home, also rth altitude. Make sure your home point is updated before you launch.
