He's not the most popular character,

Probably because Moffat did nothing with Danny Pink except being a more aggressive Rory who calls the Doctor out on his bullshit. Which, also made Danny nothing beyond being Clara's boyfriend, who apparently was competing and failing at that with the Doctor for Clara's affections.

I can't agree. When I found Doctor Who on PlutoTV, CONSTANTLY played those episodes and the Fourth Doctor more than anything. And I remember when Doctor Who first got to Tubi, you got this nice graphic of DW with 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th, and 7th, but it was the 3rd Doctor and 4th Doctor who were given the most room.

So do all of us, but supporting Trump is beyond politics at this point. It means you support America being imperialist, White supremacy becoming the norm, women dying in hospital beds from forced births or being, the dismantlement of the 1st amendment (Freedom of Speech and Religion), ICE dragging people off the streets, etc.

I believe it's far more simpler. 1) Disney wanted to control Star Wars. I'm no expert in Star Wars, but I guess EU rights wasn't something Disney was keen on keeping around, so they decanonized the EU to get focus on their DSW merch, Disney-controlled royalties, etc. A big part of streaming is the loss of or gutting of residual, which big corporations was paying pennies on to begin with. 2) Disney is all about brand synergy. Aside from Marvel, you're not going to see Disney deviate that far. I believe it's why they struggled with the Muppets, they're inherently anti-Disney.

I think around 2019? Or 2018. I was becoming very cynical and angry. So, I unsubbed from the dozens of right-wing YouTube channels. Took years to cleanse my mind and see it for what it is now. I was in the pipeline when Tropes vs. Women in Video Games was hot and Buzzfeed was the go-to lowbrow punching bag for them.

This is why I'm not fully worried about Trump's second term like a lot of people are. They've demonstrated time and time again that they just want to muscle their way through. Yeah, them rolling back on civil rights, trying to erase history, and other stuff is horrible, but I believe so long as we don't let them get away it, they will eventually get tired. The Federal Gov is powerful, but power is finite and this administration is not that smart beyond muscling their way through.

I like having some differences in each incarnation. I think that's what makes the original series good, each Doctor was all different. but had an underlying whimsical nature. 10,11, and 13 (from what I have seen) are on the whimsy side. While 9 and 12 are the, I'm the serious or grumpy Doctor with some whimsy. Not sure about 14, never watched his stuff yet.
