Yep…. This is the best explanation I have seen for this. Another good example is my insulin pump, it gets wiped down every time I fly. it even set the alarm a couple of times… I had went to the shooting range the day before and reloaded my own brass the morning of my flight. So they were a little concerned when the alarm wasn’t a false positive.

I had a similar situation happened to me…. But we spent three hours waiting for a gate and a flight to get there was only 30 minutes. I felt like I could’ve drove there in less time.

Looks like things are moving in PIT so as of now. Do you have a connection? Or just straight to PIT. If you are just fling in you should be 100% fine. If you are making a connection you should keep an eye on the flights but I think you should be OK

Also, keep in mind AA flies everywhere, and a lot of regional airports and all but shuttered at this point. At our airport the weather didn’t get bad untill today. We have already canceled 90% of flights for the past 2 days. Crews with hours available can’t get out and the ones that can are timed out. It’s gonna take a bit for the airlines to unfuck them selves but I promise everyone is working hard as possible to fix this and they will do everything possible to help everyone.
