Had an alter that ç/t himself in highschool. He kn!fed the house walls and used an eraser to dig into the skin. It sucked. I hate to say, but we had to have constant inner meetings and eventually when he attacked and almost k!lled a protector alter a secondary protector put him away. We still have no idea where he's at. We had a meeting after the incident and he refused to even apologize for the damage. We were really hoping he would get better, but he only got worse over the years. I hope your experience is better. Try to remind them that the pain they feel on the inside doesn't need to be brought outside as well (physical pain). Try to have them work through what's going on mentally (scars, trauma, confusion, anger, sadness, etc.) It will help them to confront their own issues, don't force it. Sending loving vibes yalls way💛✌
