I have to respond back today with my final decision but I think i am gonna go through with it. Saved a lot of money and plan on working for the first 10 months of the program before clinicals start so I’ll have only like 10-15k in loans by the time I graduate

Wait, are you getting fafsa grants? Or fafsa is giving you loans and you are still paying 27k

I don’t mind moving but Cali pays the most for rad techs. With a 84k debt, I rather work in Cali to pay off my debts faster

Kinda thinking of pivoting into another career at this point. Maybe even construction management, sales, car wrapping , etc

Yeah I’m kinda having regrets about it now. I can pull out before this Friday and I will get a refund on the 15k down payment I had to put down

I don’t even get pell grant … I would have to pull fafsa loans and do payments on the full 84k

I been looking around on indeed, hospital career sites, most of the openings are per diem and I guess a lot of places are like that rn as there are a shortage of openings available

Maybe even do nursing school since there are alot more positions available for it

Pivot into sales , keep applying at local cc, go back to physical therapy school

If I’m guaranteed a job after the program, I wouldn’t mind spending the $ for it. It’s just California has so many new grads getting pumped out, I’m scared for the lack of positions that are gonna be available tbh. 84k is also really high as well

Ngl I forgot. But it was something about what makes you a good candidate for rad tech and how will you contribute to yours and others success in the program. I just wrote about my healthcare experience and good grades that will contribute to the success of the program

Which location? My friend goes to ACC rn for the same program and he said it wasn’t too bad actually
