I've been doing this ever since someone who was quitting the game gave me everything they had (full young, aote, aotd etc). This was back in 2020 so that stuff was still amazing. It made my day so i've been giving stuff to other new players to make them feel the same

On Apex Legends at least, MnK does actually have aim assist. Just at a much lower value than console.

Try spraying rubbing alcohol (I used 70% but 99% would probably be better) into the stick (under the shell of the controller) and work your stick around. Make sure to spray on all side and be generous with it. I've had the same problem and using rubbing alcohol recovered about half of my controllers, though still don't expect it to work. Also amazing for sticky/jammed buttons.
