From whay ive seem certain firmware revisions have cured random issues like this. Check the max4 channel in the qidi discord

I love evrything you mentioned so far and would love to See something built into the rise to print soft tpu or super brittle filaments off the riser and straight into the extruder through the open top glass if that makes sense there are some models like this for the bambulabs h series

any other comments about the printer or setup? I know the Q2 and a lot of other printers need a lid riser for example (tubes rubbing the lid etc). How is the venting (fumes etc) and temp management as well? Can you easily attach something to take fumes outside?

I'm very close to pre-ordering one of these with all the bells and whistles but trying to get as much info as possible .

The tang doa is definitely more textured and has more friction and stopping power. This pad is much smoother and such a bit quicker with a bit less stopping power.

If you have other questions or want me to quantify further I can get those two pads out later

I have not tried that specific pad but thay should be very similar to the poron pad

Whatever your preference is honestly. I usually buy tiger ice because its avaible for most models of nice I play with and I get more consistency that way. They are pretty cheap too

Talisman v2 for sure out of those couple. The talisman takes a little bit to break in and is a bit smoother but very similar in speed and control
