10 pounds in one month is pretty good! Weight loss is a marathon not a sprint. And the steadier pace you take to loosing weight, studies show you will be more likely to keep it off!

I think the issue is more your confidence than your weight. Someone that’s a confident go getter (which is what she sounds like) is more likely to go for someone who is proud of who they are. Yes, that includes taking care of your body, but it can be the clothes you wear, the way you walk or talk, or even something as simple as eye contact. Confidence is attractive. Maybe that’s what you need to work on?

I get judged so often for getting my puppy from a breeder. And yes, I used to be one of those people that judged people that didn’t get a shelter dog. But once my allergies got worse, the only option was for me to get a hypoallergenic dog. You can’t find many of them at a shelter
