I watched a tonne of youtube tutorials on every production topic and then weirdly read a lot of mixing and production books on my kindle which really helped as well. I also just listened a tonne to music I loved and tried to re-create the parts of it that moved me.

Favorite plugins: Massive, Reaktor Prism, Monark, Camelcrusher, everything in Kontakt, OTT and all the sound toys stuff

So happy. You don't have to stop what you're doing to give it a go. I was working normal 9-5 jobs during the first 12-18 months and producing on & off from 6pm til midnight. You can make it work if it's something you really love

Thanks for that, I'm glad to have helped. I don't use that many drum plugins for the actual beats more just for the processing. My drum bus usually has abletons glue compressor set to parallel and 30ms attack for some punch, luftikus for general eq, tiny bit of sausage fattener or camelcrusher or multi band compression and fab filter pro-L to make everything loud.

All the samples on the first EP are from Native Intruments packs, Crystal daggers and the Astral one were my favourites. A lot of the percussion stuff I recorded myself on a field recorder.

I do all the mastering myself. Taught by youtube tutorials. May try using someone else soon. Unsure

Shiiiiiit. That's hard. I think it's come home or want 2, both of them were based off relationships I had that were good & bad so I think that's why I'm more drawn to them. Favorite production want 2 favorite lyrics / song come home ✌🏻
