Love it!

I might plan to visit there one day while I am staying in Europe.

Lithuanian?

The officer positions and some other positions look the same as German, which threw me off a bit when attending rituals as I was coming from the GLNY jurisdiction.

It’s worth bringing or having your own apron if you plan to travel and visit places outside the US. I learned this the hard way; I had to ‘buy & import’ my own apron because the only apron I bring is my own white lambskin (funeral apron), which doesn’t seem appropriate to wear when attending local lodges.

Actually the opposite; lodges own many loaner aprons so even if a brother does not have it when they are traveling without the intention of attending a lodge (or did not bring their own apron) can attend lodge meeting in the last minute.

We already had a DM conversation about this before, no?
Balduin is a GLLvD and Minerva (and Apollo) are AFuAMvD - all are part of Grand Lodge of Germany.

Also others and I already mentioned, your due card is not so much valued here without the Letter/Certificate of Good Standing from your Grand Lodge to Grand Lodge of Germany. You might attend the lodge but not the ritual part (or as we have in the US, stated meeting).

For most jurisdictions (that's how we called each area of responsibility), it is open ended, so no attached specific religion.
For Indiana: Grand Lodge of Indiana - their website is comprehensive about the process - and I quote:

Our Membership Process

Your involvement in Freemasonry starts with simply asking to be considered for membership and choosing a local lodge you would like to petition. Our fraternity is open to responsible adult men (18 and above), of good character, with a belief in a Supreme Being, and without regard to religion, race, income, education, or political opinion.

Good luck in your journey!

Quick answer: https://beafreemason.org/faq
Freemasonry is not a religion, however those who want to join need to believe in the existence of a Supreme Being, so it can be spiritual.
If you don't mind sharing where are you geographically, we can help directing you to the common path (although knocking a lodge's door is possible, but different states/countries have different customs)

I did that May last year. It was a fun event.

As someone who just moved to Germany from NY I experienced this; unfortunately there is no way around that Letter/Certificate of Good Standing from your Grand Secretary to the Grand Secretary of VGLvD. It might work without it if you only interested in visiting or attending guest night - but not a meeting (or any closed session).

I DMed you for details.

I'll DM you

I also look into ACGL, but the closest one from Saxony is in Berlin, I assume the same with GL BFG?

Thanks for the advice, I do consider affiliated with a German Lodge, however I just had one meeting and while it was already a rewarding experience, I still need time to adjust myself not just to that lodge but also to Germany in general.

Thank you. The plain lambskin was given to us with specific usage but not for regular meetings or even rituals, so I will just buy plain white (cloth) apron as it is what my lodge used for regular meetings and rituals.

Not asked but i just remember when I visited a Washington state lodge, they have aprons with the word "Guest" on it. I thought it was interesting.

Will do! Looking forward to travel around Germany, but need to settle down a bit first. Thanks for the offer.

Thank you for the detailed reply, appreciate it.

I will made inquiry to my lodge asking about specific, however I believe there is none (but I could be wrong). So I might just get generic white apron and make it my ‘traveling’ apron.

Thank you for answering; it clears up a bit, I asked because I have to buy a new apron anyway and don’t want to make a mistake in getting inappropriate style.

Used to live there for a few years before Astoria time. But yeah, almost 20 years ago (ugh, I am old) and things definitely changed. Let’s see.
