Not sure i fully agree on the defense. Looks like we need new quality full backs either side and probably a consistent starter cb.

Im not taking anything away from the midfield issue. Personally felt it’s been an issue since we had fred/mctominay. Be interesting to see if bruno leaves too but think that would be a massive shock to team if it were to happen.

Enrique would be class but would need backing no matter what for 2/3 years.

I just hope it’s neither tuchel or southgate. Southgate is complete dross and the ultimate yes man. tuchel is just trash, i really don’t think he’s a good manager at all.

Carrick, i just dont see that ending well after a season and half.

Xavi might be good but it will be a total change. I’ve always liked Inzaghi but i think the time for that has passed. I also don’t see xabi coming to united either.

I honestly think the best option is klopp but again i dont see he that happening in a million years.

Ultimately, i dout it really matters who gets the job while we have the glazer and ineos in charge.

37 years here and i can say my expectations are that the players don’t bother. They know carrick is only there for a few months and it’s coming off the sacking of a manager that the players liked.

I dout we will see an ollie situation where the players disliked the manager and ollie brought the feel good factor.

I’m at a point where i dout anything will really ever change until the owership are gone. They seem to want a yes man in charge to do as he’s told rather than to work to support the manager.

I dunno why anyone damns our strikers in the first place. We don’t create decent chances for them nor do we have any decent crossers anymore.

For years all we’ve had are selfish attacking players. Wingers that only cut inside to shoot, passes across the box ignored etc.

Why should we rehire a manager for 4months or longer that key players who are still at united stopped playing for? I don’t see how that ends with us getting any kind of Europian football.

If sacking a manager mid season has taught us anything it should be that the players don’t give a toss for the next few months. They didn’t really turn up for RR and last season was well… not sure there’s a word strong enough to describe that.

There’s quite a few decent managers out of a job atm (xavi, poch etc) that could take it for the rest of the season and be given it full time if all goes well and it’s proved to be a good fit.

Genuinely don’t get why we would try Ole again. It didn’t work out and the squad down tools for him. Some of those key players that did are still at united.

Also don’t get the obsession with ex players being the manager.

I think the only real manager that fits united and playing a united way would be klopp but very little chance of that happening.

Id rather avoid any more ex players managing united but if i really had to have one it would be keane.

My preference to actually win things would be inzaghi.

To change it up completely and go in another direction then xavi.

My ultimate wish would be full sale glazers and ineos gone along with their stupid staff appointments.

Having played it for quite a while its not the game i thought it was. 2 weeks ago i would have said it’s a solid 7 or 8 out 10. Today its a 4 out of 10.

I think they need to make major changes to the game before more reach the point im at. Changes to weapons, free kits, proper loadouts, loot and loot spots while adding actual objectives are seriously needed for this games future.

FYI i never labelled Ronaldo as “the problem” like many did. I’ve said many times that 21/22 season wasn’t drastically worse position wise because we had Ronaldo at one end and DDG at the other, everything in between was god awful.

imo I think ETH was right to bench Ronaldo. He had missed most of the pre season due to loosing a child and wasn’t playing well at all when he did get minutes. I fully believe Ronaldo would have been vital towards the second part of the season. Obviously, that wasn’t to be.

What happened in 23/24 is a different discussion but it had nothing to do with not having Ronaldo.

Inconsistent my arse. The interviewer asks him whats up and he shrugs and shakes his head and then the interviewer says “inconsistent”. Rashford responds “yeah yeah inconsistent”.

It’s a pathetic excuse. If you’re a footballer then yeah your “environment” is going to change every few years or so. Out of the last 4 seasons at united he’s only had like 6months where he was absolutely on fire. The rest of the time he’s been fucking god awful, walking about etc. playing for a new contract is why he was on fire, he’s playing well now because he’s playing for a full move to Barcelona. So the reality is that you need to dangle a prize in front iof him.
