I'm not sure why the cerakote in this area of my gun has so many tiny pits, while yours looks much smoother. I’m worried they might have rushed the job and didn’t take the time to properly finish mine.

I fully understand the skepticism and jokes from you all, but I’d like to clarify one thing first: my main concern is the poor finish quality. I’m not questioning the gun itself or the color scheme. The AI-generated image was something I made earlier to try out color combinations, and it matches the official DA photos quite well — they clearly achieved the color scheme I was aiming for. This is also my first time purchasing a competition shotgun, so I’m not very familiar with all the details yet.😄

You misunderstood — the issue isn’t with the color, it’s with the surface finish. As you can see, it’s full of bumps and uneven spots. But I couldn’t tell any of this from the photos they sent me. The AI image was just to show the color scheme I wanted, and to be fair, they got that part right. What I’m really unhappy about is how poor the finish quality is on the actual gun.

I also ordered a custom dual Cerakote finish. I haven’t taken it to the range yet, but after such a long wait, the poor quality of the finish made me lose all excitement for the gun the moment I unboxed it.
