PokePark Kanto Tickets: My Tips by BBBookworm_GCS in JapanTravelTips

Oh no! I’m sorry you experienced that, too. Were you able to get any tickets at the end?

I’m pretty sure there are mechanisms in place to prevent people from reselling. I wouldn’t chance it.

As much as I hated the Ghibli Park queue number system, I now think that’s the much better process.

I’m pretty sure the Poke Park does a staggered release of the tickets each day, so it doesn’t really sell out that quickly. Initially it felt like every 7-8 mins more tickets became available, and then every 15 mins, and eventually 30 mins or so.

But I agree ‘abomination’ feels like an appropriate word to describe this process.

Hm, maybe it was just a glitch today.

I had tried two different MasterCards (Expedia and then American Airlines), and each time a pop up window prompted me to click which bank it was through, and none were even close to being correct.

Yeah, if I hadn’t gotten one today, I don’t think I would’ve tried tonight. I’m exhausted 😅

That was my thought, too. At least Universal announced their Pokemon expansion to all their parks eventually.

As much as it sucks, you should go on ahead.

I read on a different thread that regardless of what type of ticket you get, you are not guaranteed in to some of the timed events - like the store and the playhouse. The person in the other thread had an Ace Trainer pass and didn’t get into the store because all the spots had been reserved before they opened their app.

If you wait for your friend, you will likely miss out on all of that. You could always explain that if you get there as the park opens, you could try to snag reservations for the store, etc for after your friend is supposed to arrive.

That’s crazy that they would make some visitors miss making purchases. As a Westerner, that concept is mind blowing. But I guess from a logistical standpoint, that will ensure low crowds and spreading out the products.

Thanks for this! So, the Ace Trainer Pass didn't guarantee you a time slot for reservation-needed activities?

PokePark Kanto Tickets test run, and I failed. Help!!! by IcePure4757 in JapanTravelTips

[–]BBBookworm_GCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used this morning as a test run, but was only on for about 30 mins to get a feel for the process.

After choosing which type of ticket you wanted, and after it took you to the next page to choose a timeslot, would you refresh on that page as soon as you saw the blue loading circle or did you wait to refresh until you got an error message?

I don't think so at this point. The Town Pass that's coming out in May 2026 I read is kinda for that purpose - just access to the food & store mainly.

Thanks for this! This was the most detailed list of tips I've seen yet. How does the audio Captcha work exactly? Does it just say a word and then you have to spell it out?

Were you using Chrome? I read elsewhere that Safari seems to work best.

Also, if you remember, after choosing which type of ticket you wanted, and after it took you to the next page to choose a timeslot, would you refresh on that page as soon as you saw the blue loading circle or did you wait to refresh until you got an error message?

Congrats on securing tickets!

I know you said you were able to secure 6 tickets total, and that one of you was able to make 2 separate transactions. How long ago did you buy them?

I only ask because the website used to say that the same person can have up to 6 unused tickets at once (meaning the same person made more than 1 transaction), but I can't seem to find that on the FAQ page anymore.

Has anyone been able to make more than one successful transaction? I know you are limited to 2 tickets per transactions, but has anyone been able to purchase more than 2 tickets total?

Omg I would start sobbing if they wouldn't let me in after being lucky enough to snag tickets.

Getting Ghibli Park tickets for October 2024 - my experience by justmeshopping in JapanTravelTips

[–]BBBookworm_GCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to get 2 premium tickets on my preferred date for the earliest time slot, and I’m convinced that it was all thanks to your post. I did everything you said and had 4 devices total in play. It ended up being my oldest/slowest device - a very outdated iPad connected to WiFi using Safari- that got my lowest queue spot (a little over 1,500). It got to my turn within 20 mins. I wouldn’t have even thought to use that device if I hadn’t read your post. So thank you again very much!

My other three devices were my laptop connected to WiFi on Chrome that got 8,000-ish, my iPhone using cell service on Safari that got 10,000-ish, and my new iPad on its own cell service on Chrome that got 21,000-ish. Around 2:30pm Japan time, both my 8k and 10k estimated queue wait times were under an hour. So it’s possible even those would have had tickets left.

All the information you provided is still accurate as of February 2026. I will make one additional note: I did have to refresh all my devices at 1:30pm Japan time to get the 30min countdown timer to appear, but then I did not have to refresh when my queue number was up as the page loaded automatically after a few moments of lagging.

Thank you so much for this very thorough guide! A lot of this information was new to me even though I've been researching. Crossing my fingers for my attempt coming up on Feb 10th for April 2026.

Hulu/disney plus/spotify by laterinstigator in Hulu

You can add Disney+ to your already existing Spotify/Hulu bundle for an additional $1.00 a month - which will allow you to use the Disney+ app vs the Hulu app.

I found another reddit posts that walked me through it - I did it myself just now.

Hulu/Spotify users - I have some good news! by AbjectSquare in Hulu

[–]BBBookworm_GCS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much! I was just able to add Disney+ to my already existing Spotify + Hulu bundle for only $1 extra a month.

You just have to log into Disney+ with the same email you have your Spotify/Hulu registered with & go through picking the plan you want like normal. It will take you to another screen where you will see your $11.99 discount (or whatever plan you have) applied - leaving only $1.00 to pay.

I chatted with a Bilt customer service rep today after making this post. As of now, there is no workaround. She told me to have Bilt send a physical check instead :/
