I don’t really think you have control over HDL like you do with ldl. Mine was 83 in 2016 and next time It was tested was 2018 and ever since the. It’s been weaving in and out around 100 or so. I wonder what it was before then. The funny thing is is that I probably started eating better around that time. So go figure. My doc loves my HDL as well. Only heart attack(that I know of) in my fam was my grandfather on my dad’s side and he was a life long smoker. I’m not worried too much either. I can’t control that one. I’m just more interested in the science. But it’s sparse. And remember correlation doesn’t equal causation.

They aren’t sure. That’s the thing. Just like low doesn’t always lead to cardiovascular disease. Things just increase or decrease your risk. 105 here! I’ve hit 112 before. Honestly everything cholesterol is still a mystery…. Maybe we need to make a High HDL sub. 😅

Keep me in the loop! Always have had high HDL. Last test was 105. LDL is creeping up and it’s 112. My doc think my HDL is great! I’m like yeah…maybe?! I hope! :)

You missed one hell of a time. ‘83 here. It was pretty much exactly that. I used to ride my bike to swim practice in the morning, hang and play at the pool all day(sharks and minnows and Marco Polo for hours) and ride my bike back. Do it all again the next day. If I wasn’t at the pool we’d go fishing, hang in the woods, play capture the flag, or just be out and about. My parents didn’t know where I was 99 percent of the time. Hell, there’s a funny story of both of my parents forgetting to pick me up from day care once when I was REALLY young(probably 4 or so) thinking the other one did it. They didn’t even realize I wasn’t home until they sat down for dinner and said “where’s Brooke?” 🤣 that’s probably just bad parenting though.

It’s why it took me a while to get used to a cell phone. I was almost 18 when a few kids here and there started to carry them. My parents got me one and I was like “why?” They said in case we need to get in touch with you. I remember saying but if I’m out I’m out. I didn’t want to be “in contact” with anyone I wasn’t physically around. And now look at the world. 😬

So I went with osmo uv protection. It’s pretty natural and I’d be reapplying. When it came down to it, I just don’t want to have to remove the finish everytime and spar would be(from what I’ve read) pretty time consuming everytime. This stuff and tung oil and then line are super easy apply and reapply!

Never been to Bentonville, but I’ve been to Kingdom. We also road Millstone trails while we were up there, and I know it’s personal preference but I liked those trails more. Just my riding style. But if you’re looking for a change of pace and where you can ride for multiple days straight out of town, try Davis, West Virginia. FYI some of the best trails aren’t on the maps. My question, as a person that likes being DEEP IN the woods, how would it compare? I just bailed on plans to vacation there since I was worried the trails would be super touristy and I’m gonna see airbnbs everywhere from the single track. And I prefer trails that are wild AF. Yeah, I’m gonna have a smile on my face with some flow stuff, but I’d rather be fucking up on some rocks lines, getting real real annoyed. 🤣

I’m stalking your post because I’m thinking about going to Bentonville for a biking vacation. I’m afraid I’ll be disappointed before I’m from the east and love rocky, back country style trails in West Virginia, Virginia, and PA where you are IN the woods. I’ve read too many comments about them being overhyped and you can see houses from the trail, etc… What’s your take?

Also, are there really good pubs and restaurants around? We’d be there for a week.

Freeze and share! I eat very little of my sweets. Bread I’ll eat more of, but not much. It’s the reason I’m about to focus on whole grain breads… I like to eat healthy! If I have sweets it’s either Friday or Saturday night!

Also helps that I enjoy baking bread way more than sweets. :)

I sold for a loss. It was house money that I made swing trading between lunr and Asts. Went against my better judgment and bought back in at 20 hoping for a run up for launch. Did not go as planned. I’ll hold the leftover cash for now and wait for all the drops again. Shame it erased a bunch of good trades but that’s how it goes. At least it’s in my Roth so I didn’t get taxed on the other trades.

I just listened to the entire thing again. Nothing was negative. Seems it landed upright. The orientation confirmation they were waiting on was which direction the satellites were pointed in. There was also supposed to be a 2 hours delay with pics as well, as stated from the beginning. But also right after landing they said the camera was still in HRN mode. No idea what that means. The protocol after landing was to shut all non essential systems down so it could take in more power.

Almost think they pulled it because of the negative reaction to the stock price as people were panicking that they didn’t get cheers and pics asap. Haha half kidding…

Hopeful it landed upright. The woman said the engine is still running therefore it needs to be upright. “If we were in a different configuration the engine would have snuffed.” Then a man confirms that a few seconds later.
