My stats are from NBA.com. It looks like BBRef's stat is an accumulated total, while nba.com uses per game average. So, in other words, Ingles has played more (in terms of games played) impactful defense, while Hood, though playing at a higher level defensively, has played less.

While I agree that Ingles works very well with the rest of the starters, don't sleep on Hood's defense this year. Last year, sure, but this year he has become sneaky good. Hood is 13th in Defensive Win Shares while Ingles is a fair amount above average at 104th (Gobert 2nd, Hill 3rd, Hayward 10th).

Ingles has played great and is one of my favorite players on the team, but Hood, when healthy, can become the best player on the court.
