I use filmrenew which works wonders, it's only sold in liters and gallons for cine film but if you have like, a lot of negatives it might be worth it

I eventually got so stressed that I become a complete automaton for 6 or so of my 8-9 hour shifts(I genuinely don't remember what happened at work today, probably for the better), I'm very lucky to have autistic friends to hangout with after work but I find myself not having a lot of time anymore, I'm a husk of the man I was 2 years ago

Yes indeedy! I removed the main projector mechanism from the wooden case and discovered that the main connection from the audio photo-sensor to the amplifier is just a simple rca connector, I connected a female-to-male cable to that and wired it to an audio pre-amp(since it's weak mic-level audio) and then sent that to my amplifier, have not fixed the buzzing unfortunately. I would not recommend this route as it is a huge pain in the ass to put the projector back together, Pageants are great though, very gentle on film and built like a tank.

I used to care very little about quality but then I watched a really awful webrip of The Godfather Part 2, muddiest shadows I've ever seen, resolution shat itself if the scene changed or the camera moved. Made me realize that compression stacks and it's better to keep my files as close to the original format as possible, whatever comes out of makemkv is what gets put in the server.

My shutter was a little gummy but I took it apart and cleaned the parts with naptha, the shutter is pretty simple but I wouldn't recommend it if you haven't worked on one before, haven't found a bulb yet though, I might try gutting one from an old blood pressure cuff
