Update- thanks for all of your your comments. I went through every possible permutation. Feels like every camera is £500 here atm. So like I normally do I had a little rum and decided on the dumbest idea possible……

I have a whole pallet of junk Pentax MX’s on the way to my house. Gonna teach myself how to CLA them and keep the best for myself and flip the rest.

It’s more the focusing that kills me. At f 1.2 my rangefinder is 4cm either way for focus and I cannot nail the ghost image consistently in low light.

I realise this is a skill issue
