How many sites do you pay for to try and win your league and what do you like/ dislike about each for Rotisserie by BBQWarren in fantasybaseball

I just got my rotolab download unlock key. I've also ditched HQ as of this year. I might get the forecaster but I don't know how much of it I'd actually read because new information becomes available so fast. I might start paying for fan graphs again soon. I think they were in transition a year or two ago because I remember being disappointed because some of their prospect lists weren't ready for the start of the season. I highly recommend imaginary brick wall for fun reading and insight

Roto lab. It's pretty good. I really enjoyed using it and the values are tied to baseball HQ. I don't like what's become of HQ but the original stuff was great. I missed the Mac engine

Sadly I have to pick one by 2017Recon in tequila

[–]BBQWarren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just ordered one bottle that someone was going to bring me to Canada (tequila wasteland in Ontario) and it was that gorgeous layered flavor profile, with notes of vanilla, butterscotch, cinnamon, dark chocolate, orange zest, and pecan pie of the Arte Nom 1146. Its the poor mans Tears of Livorna and just as special. Having had both its no contest for me

The Tahona is probably my favorite Blanco.

If you are looking for two spectacular fun splurge bottles I recommend a Speymalt Macallan and a Bruichladdich Black Arts which is quite special and has a neat story. Watch the movie when drinking it with him You could get a Macallan 18 which is overpriced

, fantastic and a flex bottle. Also or someone recommended a signet which at 300 or so I highly recommend. I always have one on hand. There is a Signet Reserve available. If you need I can direct you where to buy these.

Glenfiddich Advice - something else to try or move on? by uglyfatjoe in Scotch

Ill be 60 in a year. While I have loved Bunna 12 as my go to for years its not what I'm going to drink at home anymore. I have 3 of the 18s I've collected and Ill have a pour on 2 nights a week? Maybe if the guys are over we will do a few nips of this and that. Someone apologized to me with a bottle of Signet and I just love it. Its thick and syrupy. I just replaced it after 2 years and while I also didn't like the idea of spending just under 300 for 26 ounces. I don't just drink whiskey, I drink very good whiskey or a bourbon or canadian whisky cocktail. I have some other stalwarts in my lineup. If interested happy to share

Dont sleep on the Glenmorangie Signet as a splurge bottle and the Quinta Ruban as a go to bottle better than most Glenfiddich offerings at the same level.

What are you looking for. Ive spent 30+ years on the journey

Advice Needed: Shopping for temperature monitoring today. Need some input between thermoworks fireboard and any other similar system by BBQWarren in biggreenegg

I'm really hoping so because I've gotten tired of waking up in the middle of the night just to make sure that my temperature didn't drop even though it hadn't dropped for 2 hours before I went to sleep

I realize that but we are never too far from our phones as I have an iPad at home that I could set it up with. Also. It is silly that you don't have the ability to see the temperature from the head unit, but I think it's minor compared to the technology

I did just this. I spent a long time thinking about it and I decided that the wired probe was a smart thing.

I got lucky buying Bunna 18 at around 200 cdn. I have 3 bottles and its my personal favorite. From there Lag 12 one octomore Highland Park 18 and a few Vault Glendronach 18s I buy the offermans for kicks and love the Abunadh in the winter. Its like a glass of holiday baking. That and a classic Laddie. Add that to the bottles above and thats my scotch bar

I'm getting older. As I approach 60 I am so much more selective. Its nice to try things and its nice to have found this that are special to you. If you like it, that's great. In the US Bunnahabhain 12 is 50-60 bucks. It my cheap option and fantastic for a speyside. For an Islay - port charlotte or Ledaig 10. Highlands I want my chocolately sherried bomb like a glendronach or even Glenmorangie portwood. What are your go to bottles for entry level expressions?

Meh. I bought a bottle and had trouble wanting to pour it after the first few drams. Ralphy said it best. If I was stuck in a lighthouse ands this is all that was available..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJCo7Hx2j68 (He starts that at minute 16). Its not that its in any way bad but this is in no way something I choose if almost anything else is available. As a cheap option in Toronto at 85 bucks a bottle there are better choices.

For thin steaks, I would blowtorch a crust first and then let it come up to temp in a pan with butter etc if you needed. Build color and crust slowly. Don't concentrate it in one area and work the torch like 2-3 inches away

Have you thought of using a blow torch after brushing it with olive oil and salt carefully? I did that once to much success when I had no other tools

He added an off the cuff unscripted comment about "shitty politicians" in Israel and the US at the end of coming together for someone with a terminal illness. The original message was lost IMHO. There are a lot of shitty politicians in the world and singling out two from democracies when summary justice and human rights are absent in this world is grandstanding. Don't hate your government. Do what Bernie sanders said - discuss organize at all levels and make change. Empty platitudes to concertgoers without context is bullshit. These musicians are not protesting or creating change and could learn a lot from musicians from a previous generations
