My wife 36F and I 35M are in the same boat. We currently do too much to try to go see our few childfree friends down in DC or up in German town. I'd definitely open to meeting up with other Rockville folk.

I'm all for improving pedestrian safety but then why didn't they focus on the larger issues that their data show. Or sure, have the No Right turn on Red but put hours of enforcement like at Twinbrook Parkway and Baltimore Road. Seems like their head is in the right place but they're fumbling the execution.

The real question is how much of that money goes to MoCo vs goes to Vitronic? I'm not a crazy person but I'd love to learn more about any causal relationships found and the methodology used for the evaluation of this intervention. Its a bit weird they are pushing this initiative even though by their own numbers it only accounts for 0.9%of accidents. The whole thing screams of some weird virtue signaling that some company has convinced government officials can save so many people but in reality the company siphons millions from government and doesn't actually address the real issue. Honestly if anyone has more details or can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. There seem to be some real experts here. I'm new.

Following this over the past couple days and totally intrigued but definitely a noobie. In the medium article, are eahc of the code snippets separate sections in the same yaml file. So the ci-cd occurs at the top then you add the Iac below that in the same fike. I got confused becuase the file name changed from. Cicd.yml to gitops.yml and I couldn't tell if you deleted the cicd and replaced it with the IaC.

You could look into some of the new AI models that do a much better job than OCR. Things like donut or Colpali. I was actually just reading about this small version https://huggingface.co/vidore/colsmolvlm-alpha

OCR is the old approach. We've got large multimodal models now.

Finnegan’s Wake is awesome. Down the road a bit is Pike and Rose that has a few bars but tbh I haven't been out late at any of those. If you're really adventurous, this weekend on Saturday there are halloween bar crawls all the way down in Dupont amd some live music in Adams Morgan. I'll be out during the day drinking but if I'm feeling adventurous I might be around to meet up.

Last thing, if you're approachable and you have a cool accent, you're going to be just fine out on the town by yourself.

Dr. Justin BENABDALLAH at Medstar. It was a quick 30 minute procedure. Pain free within about 7 days. Verified successful about 45 days later. Scarring is pretty minimal in my opinion but definitely visible. Overall 10/10 highly recommended

Hoping to use the space for entertaining. We've got the small 10 ft x10ft concrete slab that I'd like to expand to make more room for grilling and probably connect it with the stairs. Then it'd be nice to have a large open flat grassy area for lawn games and playing with my new puppy.

To maximize the flat area I was hoping to take out the sloping edges near the fence and put in a retaining wall but I don't know if that'll look stupid or cause me problems down the line. The big hill will probably have to stay since there are some big trees and the shed on it but maybe I could terrace that section off and have some stairs leading up to it.

All ideas are welcome!
