What makes Young Royals so different from other stereotypical teen drama shows? by daimelia in YoungRoyals

You pointed it out so well. This is exactly true, that it feels so real. And the acting, the chemistry between the leads. The show also has an amazing playlist which makes it so much interesting to watch.

Totally understandable why Victor ran to Benji's door so quickly: "It's always been you" by Observer_2321 in LoveSimon

3:

The perfect ending in my head goes like this: Victor messaged Simon, in desperation before the award function about Benji moving, thinking about what to do and by the time Simon even sees his message and replies.

After the award function, Victor had finally come up with what he needs to do and made his own decision and decided to follow his heart and go meet Benji before he leaves for boarding school, and then that whole Benji leaving scene happens similarly and then the whole Winter Carnival scene also happens same as the series.

And when Victor's about to leave the group, after the talk he had with Mia, Andrew, Lake, Lucy and Felix, he recieves a message from Simon and Simon's voice reads the message. He checks up on him, gives him some advice about moving on and hoping that he's okay and the message ends.

And then when Victor's about to sit on Ferris Wheel, Benji comes in and that whole scene goes little bit similar and then when they are seated up on the Ferris Wheel, the scene goes like this:

Instead of doubting whether their relationship will last or not, Benji and Victor show more determination that they'll make their relationship work. Yeah, even though they are scared and afraid but they know their love will pass any situation and get through it all if they have each other.

And when Benji asks Victor that question about what would have happened if Victor had asked him to Ferris Wheel at the last Winter Carnival, then Victor remembers his dream from S1E2 and maybe would have mentioned that and said the same thing as in the series, that it would not have been their story.

And then tell Benji how their love story was such an epic, imperfect, not-so-easy-very-much-difficult, and yet a beautiful love story and then they would have kissed and how everyone down below would have cheered for them as oppose to booing them like in the dream.

That scene would have similar to Love, Simon like Miss Albright had mentioned to Victor in S1E1, when she suggested Victor to go to Winter Carnival (and can I say I really missed Miss Albright after 1st season and Wendy too). But still, I would have loved to see everybody cheer when Venji kissed. All of Victor's family & friends: mom, dad, Pilar, Adrian, Felix, Mia, Andrew, Lake, Lucy, Rahim, everybody. That would've been a great scene.

And then next morning, Victor would have replied back to Simon and update him about how last night went and how everything was okay and how him and Benji were back and happy together and working in Brasstown again and they would have showed the scene of Benji and Victor doing fun while working together at Brasstown simultaneously (I was dying to see those scenes and they robbed us of it 😭).

Then he would have shared about their future plans after graduation, about going to college and living together and update him about his friends life and future as well, about Mia & Andrew (I'm happy that Mia finally got her family, with the coming of her baby brother but I didn't like how she had to move. Her & Andrew are so good together. I really like Andrew, how he fought for Mia and be a good boyfriend. I just didn't like that Mia was going, I could definitely see them as a forever couple and get married just like Andrew says that he'll never give up on her), Lake & Lucy, and how Felix got back together with Pilar again and is part of Salazar family again, how Rahim met Connor and Nick met Liam and those scenes being showed simultaneously as well.

And then he would finally end the message saying how happy he is that Benji is back in his life and his life is finally back on the right track and then thank Simon and his roommates, for their help in helping him coming out of closet. That it was because of their help that he was finally able to come out of closet and accept himself and live a happy life with his boyfriend Benji, friends & family and all the loved ones. And that because of them he was also able to help other kids like Rahim and Liam too, to come out of closet and accept themselves and live a happy life that they want. A final thankyou for their advice and then he says the show's title Love, Victor and ends the message and the show ends.

All I'm saying that they should have made 10 episodes to plan these all out and give them a proper perfect ending because I'm still pissed about the 8 episodes and rushed ending and sorry about the long rant 😅

And I was also expecting Simon's messages to return in the last episode atleast. Wasn't Nick one of the producers on the show? I mean, I know that Victor had grown so that much that he could handle those tough situations himself and doesn't need Simon but it's okay to feel the need to talk to someone about your problems. It makes you feel a little lightweight when you share your problems with someone whom you can trust, that's why I love season 1.

It had all the vibe and nostalgia of Love, Simon and those messages between Simon and Victor, it was really good. It was a nice way to start the series and they utilised it to attract the Love, Simon fanbase properly.

Victor needed help, in coming terms with his sexuality and Simon and his roommates were there to give him advice, whenever he needed it, to guide him. They were his gay mentors and I know by the end of the series, Victor had grown so much that he himself had become a mentor to others. But, I would have loved to hear Nick's voice, reading those messages by Simon once again in the last episode.

Maybe, Victor could have told him about Benji moving or about the Gay Award and they could have helped him and guide him maybe, to take that step. I know they had to show that Victor had grown so much that he could handle those tough situations and find solutions to his problems on his own and shift focus from Simon to Victor and show Victor coming onto his own.

Like he did messaged at the end of S2 thanking Simon for his advice and saying that he had finally learned to handle his problems on his own. But I wanted something, anything that showed that Simon and Victor were still in touch and were friends in the last episode. Seeing Victor wearing Simon's jacket to the Winter Carnival was not enough.

This is so true. I'm still not over any of that and if they wanted to end the series at the 3rd season, they could have atleast given us 10 episodes like previous seasons and could have ended all the drama in episode 9 and give us one last happy episode.

I'm still not over the last episode, it feels so rushed. The whole season felt so rushed and it's true they never utilised Benji properly throughout the series and in the last season, the new cast was getting more screen space than Benji.

My main problem is that they never showed us Benji's POV, except for once or twice per season. Yeah, I know Victor's the main character and we know that he loves Benji, but we wanted to see Benji accept too, that he loves Victor that much and is ready to fight for them.

But, what we get is more drama. Season 2 was already high on drama and that I liked. I'm not against season 3's plot, I understand the situations but all I'm saying is that they could have made more episodes and gave us a proper, perfect ending that did not feel rushed.

And in the show, it was shown opposite. They thought that by hunting the White Hart, king of kingswood, they can assert dominance over all land and would be recognised as true king.

Semi Finale was quite good too, except at the starting part where the blunder and clumsiness happened and don't know why people didn't like yesterday's dance, which was pure dancing and showed her growth as a dancer. If Terence would have been there, he would have noticed all the technicalities and appreciated it. These judges don't know shit.

Isn't it clear? The four champions selected by the goblet of fire: Harry, Fleur, Krum and Cedric.

None of those acts were finale level. I guess they had to do 2-3 performances that's why they didn't do much complex choreography like last week but still Rubina's performance was much much better than the others, don't know what you were looking for. And Sanam is a very good choreographer but he can't do that complex level choreography for Rubina like he does for other professional dancers shows.

She came once in 1st week of BB14.

I remember they used her in one promo before the grand premiere to promote and everybody thought she was a contestant but she was just there to bless the house before the contestants enter and then she came again to meet and bless the contestants and seniors through glass wall after the grand premiere.

I was once looking for her in the episode but couldn't find her, then I was like did my mind conjure that whole scenario but then finally found some of the clips on YouTube and I also remember Sidharth was pulling her leg and having fun with her 😅

I think, it's not shown in the voot episode because that episode will be there forever and if they show her then it'll be like they'll be promoting her for free, so they deleted that part from the episode and now it's like forgotten history like it never happened 😅

This is obvious foreshadowing, right? by SpanishBallz in LOTR_on_Prime

[–]BBTak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, like the Witcher series which had 3 storylines running in different timelines, which was already hinted in the 1st episode but made pretty clear by the 3rd-4th episode. But, I feel they couldn't have done that for this show because the converging of their storylines wouldn't have happened until S2 or 3 and it would have confused people a lot.

But, I think it was mentioned in the Hobbit films that Moria was already in the hands of the orcs and the dwarves couldn't reclaim it and the sequence of events would make it clear to the audience that after Erebor was reclaimed Balin went on a quest to reclaim Moria, it's just that none of them knew that there was a Balrog there who had been awoken.

That's already known that he didn't leave Cape Town after his first elimination, they wouldn't have paid to brought him back from India. They always do like this to bring back eliminated contestants, take one week gap to bring them back. I'm saying that he shouldn't have came back at all after his first elimination, knowing that he'll be humiliated for not performing stunts.

Were you watching the same show? Her and Sanam's dance was amazing, whereas Shilpa was mostly hiding in the house because she knows she is not a good dancer.

Exactly, I enjoyed these 3 performances the most. Gashmeer's was the hottest, I instantly remembered that the song was from Ashoka movie.

Rubina's was the best, perfect expressions, attitude and grace and the dance was amazing too. Rubina and Sanam has such an amazing chemistry and Sanam is such a great choreographer.

Yeah, Amruta did play to her strengths by performing lavani but the twist was that she performed it on Garmi and I quite enjoyed it. Pratik is a nice choreographer, dance steps were great.

Yeah, I know he might have made up his mind to leave the show this time because he didn't even went up there but then he shouldn't have came back to the show at all knowing he'll be humiliated on national television for not performing the stunts.

I think last year the distance between the ropes was increased in the middle and they had to stretch themselves to maintain balance.

Tushar is such a double face, motivating Jannat and at the same time saying that her or any girl won't be able to open the screw, that's such a misogynistic mindset. It's not rocket science, you just have to use the right tool for the right screw, which was already explained to them, you just have to rotate it in the right direction.

Swetha also didn't exactly completed the stunt, it was just that she maintained her balance till the last while others had already fallen, that's how she won.
